I appreciate all of the comments about this tink............I am only hoping that they will still be there this Thanksgiving so we can replace the lost tink!
That picture brought back the memory, and now my daughter is sad all over again.....but happy to think that we might be able to replace it!
DD got one during our May trip. You do not have to order a certain drink. You can just buy it at the restaurant. We bought ours at Coral Reef and I think it was around $8.00. Yes, there is an on/off button.
DD's is starting to lose its glow, but she got 2 Disney trips out of it and played with it a lot.
We'll probably have to get a new one this Sept too!

If you really wanted it sooner than Thanksgiving, you could probably call and buy one and have it shipped to you. You'd have to pay for shipping, but it's probably possible. We bought DD the Cinderella castle playset for X-mas. We just called up and had them ship it.
Really? I see that the drink is available for dinner at Kona, but we were planning to go to breakfast instead. So maybe I can just ask to buy one then!

I don't see why you couldn't. I know DD bought hers with a sprite, not any type of specialty drink. Let us know how it goes......
If they don't have them for breakfast, I would just walk into any TS restaurant at night and ask to purchase one even if you are not eating there. I can't imagine that Disney would say, "No, you have to be eating here to purchase one."
I am going to buy at least one of the Hook's for each one of our DS's on our upcoming trip. I really want a Tink. I can just hear my DH on on upcoming trip. "Ok Kim, you already have several light up Tink's. How about you not order one with this meal."
DD got her Tink last fall at the Plaza. She had lemonaid in her cup, I was drinking out of the cup yesterday at home. (I think the purple straw also turned pink when cold.)
Pirate Punch is made w/ the Minute Maid Lite lemonade... which has artificial sweetener in it and my kids can't have it.
Our waitress at Boatwrights was gracious enough to tell me that the cup was available w/ any drink the kids wanted. ...so they had milk in them and use the cups at home all the time now!
I'm leaving to go to WDW before our Disney cruise on 5/6 and we'll be eating at a couple of character meals. If they have them there, would you like me to get one for your dd and send it to you? I'd be more than happy to!
