Hi,
I know this is a little early to start my PTR but i'm stuck in bed with this sickness bug:sick: and needed a little pick me up so i thought what better way then to do my PTR (that's my excuse for starting it and i'm sticking to it :rotfl2:) So here goes.....

Going 4th-7th July be Eurostar staying at the hotel Cheyenne

Cast

Me (Karen)29, As i'm sure we all are on here I am obsessed with everything Disney and Disneyland Paris. This is my early 30th birthday present from dh.

My dd (Jessica) 4, Loves Princesses especially Tiana and really loves Jessie and Giselle from enchanted. She has decided she would like her hair to be like Rapunzel's so her mission is to grow it.

My mum (Heather) a little older than 40 (she will so tell me off if i put her real age :lmao:)She is a real thrill seaker, her saying at disney is we need to "Crack on". Mum is nearly as obsessed as I am with dlp.

My sister (Beth)21, loves dlp she is very grumpy in the mornings so i'm not looking forward to getting her up for emh:rotfl:

I am feeling a little guilty about this trip as I am not going with dh and ds (as the title says it's girls only) I'm sure once we get going I will be fine

Plan of Action
Eurostar from Ebsfleet direct do disney (a first from this station)
when we get to disney we are planning on eating first before we go into the parks (that's if i can resist the force pulling me through those gates:rotfl2:) this is a first for us doing it this way as we are hoping for atleast a 9pm closing time, after eating check in then straight to park until they have to kick us out lol.

Must do's
every ride (except me i'm a chicken).
Meet as many characters as we can
Hunt for Jessie as dd did not meet her last year we could not find her (last years mission was meet Tiana with great results)
Eat as much as we can ha ha
Smell the sweet shop
see as many shows as we can including the new addition of lightning McQueen in the stunt show
Arrive at the park for emh and not leave until they swtitch the lights off:rotfl2:
Enjoy every single minute of it(as we normally do)

Meals
Annetes
Plaza Gardens
Planet Hollywood (sister's choice)
not sure between tea party or Cafe Mickey????

So sorry this has been a long PTR but i must say it did make me feel a bit better.

Thanks for reading:thumbsup2

Thanks LoodlesNoodles, while this picture of me was being taken i lost 50 euro's out of my bag (it must have fallen out when i got my camera out) i was so gutted :sad1:

It sounds like you are going to have a great trip:goodvibes

Ahh thanks jothp and Elaine, i am really excited it feels like forever away. We have always talked about a girly trip and we finally managed to arrange one:woohoo:.

Yay! PTR!!! If your sis is really grumpy in the mornings, leave her in bed and meet up with her later! ;)

I'm sure you will have a fab girls trip princess: fingers crossed you get to meet Jessie this time! :goodvibes

p.s. Get well soon :flower3:

Thanks Mum to Belle i'm sure i will be better for the kids play date i don't think Jessica or Isabelle will forgive me:lmao:.
With my sister last year we did arrange to meet her and her dbf at the park later but not sure i like the idea of her being on her own, she is ok once she gets going she is just not a morning person, I will let mum wake the beast every morning:laughing:.
I really hope we meet Jessie she said to me the other day "promise me we can meet Jessie" it was so hard to tell her i can't promise but i will try my hardest.

Awwwww  It's hard when they set their hearts on something isn't it? City Hall should be able to help you though? Rapunzel is top of Isabelle's list, last year it was Tiana, and her first trip was Jasmine! Fingers crossed for us both!

Yes, you've got to be well by next week!!! :lmao:

We were lucky with Rapunzel last year we just so happen to be walking through the castle and she turned up we were one of the first to get a meet before the crowds turned up, 5 minutes later you could not even see her for the crowds around. Hope you get a good meet too.

I think it has been decided on Lunch at Cafe Mickey for 12.30 and have a snack in the evening because if we went to cafe mickey in the evening the characters won't be out until 6pm and dd will probably be too hungry by then.
We decided against the tea party as it is just cakes and pastry's (mums heaven:lovestruc) but sister will probably only eat one cake (E18 is probably a bit much for one cake). DD would probably get too hyper, and have a sugar overload and will be bouncing around the park :lmao:. I really didn't mind where we went.

Thanks for your advice and help on making our decision:thumbsup2

Thanks Elaine :thumbsup2. I am so excited and i don't feel so guilty going now without dh and ds as we have booked our Halloween trip which we are all going on. I will still feel depressed coming home but not as bad as normal as I will know that 16 weeks later i will be back to the magic :wizard:

Sounds like a fab girly trip in the making!!
Hmmm have a DP very similar to your sis.... Grouchy in the mornings. He b*tches at me every morning, falls back asleep and then thinks its hilarious when he doesnt remember giving out for being woken!!

Girly trips are so so much fun. I also had the bit of bad mummy guilt at leaving my kiddies behind (i applaud you for bringing your DD - i was lousy and didnt bring her or my DS on the last trip :rotfl:) but it makes for a completely different trip - thats not taking from a family trip but you can indulge your princessy side!

hope you have a blast :goodvibes

Thanks Kizzabel,
:rotfl2: at your DP bless him.
DD loves all the rides so atleast we can all go on together except RnRC, SM, IJ which I don't go on anyway (i'm a wimp) and Crush as she is too small. but with crush we will take it in turns to wait with dd. DD loves TOT and BTM they are some her favs. It will be nice to have some girly time :tinker:
DH has said he would like to do some planning for our Halloween trip so i don't feel so bad when i leave DH and DS behind on this girly trip.

Could you bottle some of what your DH has? My DP is so laid back about DLP!!

Have you tried the tea party before?
It sounds lush!

I had a pang of guilt when I left DS behind last May (he was 1 and 4 months) and I swear he laid it on thick - he wouldnt kiss me goodbye or wave, nothing.

all soon forgotten when I was in DLP, having a great time, not holding a grudge and buying his toys!!!

Aww bless your DS:cutie: it's funny how at such a young age they know something is up. DS will turn 2 the end of this month and he is a real mummy's boy, if he bumps himself to him only mummy can make it better.

I'm lucky with dh he loves disney altho usually he's like "why are you planning now, 9 months before?" does he not realise i'm always planning if i'm booked or not lol.... They just don't get it :confused3. Having saying that he is planning our halloween trip as he has always wanted to do this season and we are staying in the HNY so he is looking forward to that too.

DP is getting more 'into' DLP now that we have a proper family trip booked. Our last family trip DS stayed with my parents and we had DPs brother and niece with us so it was hard to do things and keep everyone happy but this time its just us and with DS being small we'll be doing more shows and small rides which suits DP... Hes a big scaredy cat when it comes to thrill rides! :rotfl:

Love the little bond between mummy and son :goodvibes My DS isnt feeling great today so Im getting lots of hugs :cloud9:

Halloween looks fab! Maybe next year.... Not that Id be one to plan months in advance either!!! :rolleyes1:rolleyes1
Its half the fun!!

I don't do big thrill rides ie RnRc or sm but i do like TOT, btm crush etc. dd would love them if she was big enough, she does not get scared she loves TOT and when we came off Snow White I said did you like that she just shrugged her shoulders and said "Can we do btm now" I was even a little spooked in there :rotfl2:.

There is always room for planning even if you don't have a trip planned. I feel depressed if I'm not lol:rotfl: i called mum this morning to say I was picking my milkshakes from Annettes for the week dh thought i was crazy but mum fully understood.

LOL my DDs the opposite. She vowed never to talk to be again if I dragged her on BTM again :lmao:

Same as that, disney blues are a horrible thing!
Toad Hall is 1st on our plans. Need a fix of salty vinegary fishy goodness!! Mind you its the only fish id go near!
