Interesting...I really don't mind that recast. Usually I miss the old one (Hello Lulu), but Kristinas never done much for me.

I wonder how soon the writer's strike will stall any of the storylines. I know Victor tapes his last scenes so hopefully we get some closure to that nonsense before repeats start.

I figured they'll do what they did during the pandemic and start showing a "classic" episode once a week to drag out the shows they already have filmed. I also wondered if there are shows that have been written and the script finalized but haven't been filmed yet. Not sure how that whole process works.

It would be nice to show the stuff from the 80's, like the ice princess stuff. Since they are rebooting that storyline, why not show the original during the strike.

Yes, I read that on a fan site -- that people are saying they should take a few days to show the Ice Princess episodes to give newer fans a peak into that whole storyline. They also suggested showing the older Nurses Balls since it's fun to see how musically talented many of the actors are.

So how long will Spencer be missing now. I'm guessing he got off the Haunted Star, but is probably unconscious bobbing in the ocean somewhere and of course they will declare him dead. Again, Nina has a chance to make things better with her and Willow and she hesitates at Willow's dying wish, I can't feel sorry for her anymore.

I'm not a fan of Nina but in fairness (because soaps are fair ) for her to be able to be civil with Carly it would have to work both ways. I think the guilt (and fear of being found out) of turning Carly in will lend to Nina trying but unless Willow asks the same of Carly, it will be Carly constantly goading Nina until Nina breaks..... until they find out it was Nina who turned Carly in. Then all bets are off.

I'm thinking Spencer won't be missing for long. We'll probably find out that he left the Haunted Star before the explosion and will arrive at the sea plane just as everyone is thinking he's dead. I think Victor will be the one who disappears with the virus canister. The actor's contract is up, so we know he's not coming back, at least not anytime soon. It would make sense for him to the be one who's missing and presumed possibly dead (although with Cassadines, you never know). They could bring him back years later or leave him gone. Leaves some good writing options for the future.

Do you guys think Liesel will die because of the transplant and that will be how Willow will forgive Nina because of the guilt of Liesel. Of course, once they are all good the fact Nina ratted out Carly and Drew will come out.

It actually looked really awkward to me. I thought, "Is that the best shot the crew could get???"...or was it the end of a long day of shooting and everyone was just exhausted and they said, "good enough".
