The Geek Squad just left my house! I thought DH was kidding when he said that's who was coming to rescue us from our own computer ignorance..But no - it was indeed the Geek Squad - at least that's what it said on the side of his volkswagon! Where would we be w/o the geeks??? Are their any other totally helpless computer couples out there?

Yup. If it weren't for DH's Geek Squad buddies, we'd be up a creek half the time.

He also gets asked if he's a GS member when he goes out wearing one of his GS teeshirts...we must have like 5 or 6 of them.

I was going to call the Geek Squad or Geeks on Wheels around here when I lost my printer connection on all three computers, and my internet connection on the Apple lap top. I found Mr. Fixit instead. For $55 he fixed everything. I will never sit a pull my hair out for hours trying this and trying that, and after trying so many things getting it to work only to not know what I did so I can do it again!

What do they charge/hour?

I had an appointment with them to connect a router and add a wireless card to the desktop computer, so that I could connect a second computer to my cable internet modem. They were going to charge $160, but a technician from my cable company said that he could do everything for $100 -including adding a wireless card to my other desktop (and not charging for the part), so that I could move the modem into a separate room where there is better signal.
