The Gates - anyone watching? opinions...

I watched the gates on my tivo this am.....I think it has potential - vampires, werewolves, witches....right up my alley...

I am a big fan of True Blood, and I watched The Gates last night. I really liked it, I hope it stays around awhile! I am still not certain what is happening, other than there is one family of vampires. Can't wait to see it again next Sunday!

I watched it after True Blood Sunday, but I got easily bored with it and confused. I will give it another shot and hope they explain a little more before I give up.

I watched it. It looks like a supernatural soap opera. I will probably watch until cancelled.

OK, Looked up Being Human and here is the info. Much more fun to watch and BBC quirky.

Vampires, and werewolves, and ghosts, oh my! The new season premieres July 24th at 10:05pm et - right after the Doctor Who season finale.

I forgot that it was on too! I just checked abc.com and it doesn't look like they are replaying it any time this week. However, you can watch full episodes of the show at abc.com. Hope that helps

So I finally got around to watching the premiere. Within the first 5 minutes I thought that it wasn't going to be for me BUT I kept watching anyway and I'm definitely glad I did. I think it has a lot of potential. I always like when I can find a new show to watch in the summer when it feels like there is never anything on. Can't wait for the next episode

I just saw a commercial for this and made me realize I missed the premiere.
I was going to check it out because I LOVE Rhona Mitra .
It looks like the pilot is being shown again on July 4th.

I liked it. Vampires adopting a human baby is an interesting twist. Who doesn't like hot werewolves? Beautiful witches with mean girl bravado it really has it all

I watched it, loved it, and am dying to know whats going on (you know, with the whole mysterious aspect). But I fear that it'll take the same road as Happy Town, I'll like it, really want to know more but then... it'll get canceled and just show the remaining episodes that were already filmed.

Happy Town looked to creepy for me to watch. I like Vampires but Serial Killers scare me.

Not serial killers As of now, only one person has been killed and it was not by a serial killer, they know and arrested who did it. There are people missing but as of last weeks episode, they were alive... but missing still.

I understand. Those commercials were creepy...

Yes, they're airing the episodes that were filmed before they announced the cancellation. It's really a shame because it was just starting to get REALLY good.

Did anyone watch the episode from last night?? It's getting pretty good Once we start learning a little more of the backgrounds of the characters I think it will be even better.
