I'm hoping someone would know the answer. A few years ago I bought a bunch of maternity clothes off of eBay (from different people) and the tags have a gold colored circle that was drawn with a marker. Does that mean that they're irregular or maybe sold at the outlet store? I want to put them on eBay and I want to be sure to note it on the listings. :thanks:

It used to be a gold line through the Gap tag, for the outlet. But I have not shopped there in years so don't know if it's now a circle. But the gold makes me think it is.

Yep, the gold mark on the tag means it was sold at a warehouse outlet. We have one in Northern KY, and it is different than a traditional outlet where they manufacture clothes specifically for the outlets.

At the warehouse outlets (gold marker on tag), they are returns/etc. from Gap, not the outlets.

...wanted to add that the current verbage is probably 'clearance center' for clothes with the mark.

More than likely, they were bought at the Gap Distribution Center in Hebron, Ky :)
