The FP changes are live

The interface online is new too. Went in to make a change to mine and wow will it take getting used to

Wow, this is different, it gives you a choice of several times and can choose a time of day. Thank you for pointing this out. Way different. And pick one at a time and confirm it, then another one.

It will be interesting to see if this allows you to get the 4th one in-park on your phone.

The only thing I found annoying about picking 1 at a time is the system isn't smart enough to eliminate FP that conflict with the others you already booked. It alerts you when you select the time, sort of like it does with dining. Just adds a step but still, it's an improvement.

And in case others wonder, since I wasn't sure, you can not book your first 3 at different parks. I tried just in case. The first 3 need to be in the same park

And I don't like that when you select a FP to modify when you are finished it takes you back to the top of the page. So if you are working on the final day of a lengthy trip you'll be scrolling all the way back down quite often.

I do like that when you are modifying a FP you can see the times of the FP you had and you can see the other FP available on the same screen.

They specifically said that it will allow this.
But I did notice they haven't changed the veribage online. It still mentions you have to go to a kiosk for the 4th FP

I don't see where I can only see my FP's... It's showing FP's as well for my family & friends who are there at the same time... previously I could filter to only see mine. (This is online not the app... I haven't tried the app yet).

The most obvious change with this is that allows you to start right out picking the times you want. For example, if I want FPs for the 3 mountains at MK with return times starting at 5, 6, and 7 PM, I can just do that directly instead of choosing morning times and then changing them one by one.

Unfortunately, I don't get to travel to WDW as often as I used to and May will be only my 2nd time using FP+. I have a question for those of you with more experience. I am considering changing my park days and plans for a couple of days now that it looks like ROL will probably not be open. Is there a way to see if there are any FP available at a new park without discarding the ones I already have for a different park? When I go to do this, it says FP conflict and do I want to drop current ones to get new ones. It does say changes will be reviewed at the end, but I just want to make sure that if I drop my AK FP's for the day, and find there is nothing available at MK I can still keep my AK. Has anyone done this yet with new interface/system. Thanks!

Yes, You go in as if you are picking new FP for that day. Pick the people, date and park and it will warn you that you already have FP. It won't cancel the existing ones until you confirm new ones so you can just look around and see what is there for that park and then decide if you want to change or leave them as they were. If you want to leave them as they were, just cancel out of the new park page. The old ones are left alone

Interesting. I don't have anyone on my list that has their own account so I have no way to poke around to look for you. Hopefully someone else will check and see if they changed that feature.

4th FP from the app is now live with this update.

They are listed with names in the My Reservations section of the app.

I thought the exact same! I was modifying some that I made Monday night and it really got annoying. I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to modify all the times that I had to originally schedule a bit off that I haven't been able to change all week long, to the EXACT times I wanted! And more times showed up every time I went in to modify. For example I scheduled SSE at 12:05 but wanted 12:30. First time through I got 12:10, next time 12:15, third time 12:30. Interesting.

Quoting myself to come back to report that I did try this using the new interface and it does work just like it always did. It makes it appear you are canceling existing FP but as long as you click Start Over instead of Confirm your initial FP are left unchanged

Good to know. I haven't gone in to modify that often yet but I will keep this in mind.

And the scroll up/down is a little issue but it's funny how the little things can bother you the most.

The scrolling issue really bothers me on the app. It makes me feel as if I have a vision problem - nystagmus, which I don't have.

I thought it was due to the heavy traffic last night but it is still doing it now.

The most annoying part is that it must be a very easy feature to implement, code to enter, whatever it is. I know of plenty of websites that can maintain your previous spot when you return to the prior screen.

I agree. And I edited to say my scrolling issue is with the app. Angi, when you scroll in the FP area of the app, is it not a smooth scroll for you, too?
