The forum jump

Why is the jump to this forum only available from the DVC board? Can something be done so that we can come here directly from other boards (i.e. community board) too?

i always though the DVC board could only be reached by going back to the Disboards and that way.

what other way are you talking about?

You can get most anywhere from any board by going to the bottom of the board where it says "Jump to a Forum". Scroll down till you find the forum you want to "jump" to.

It took a little while, but I think the jumps are working now. I just jumped here from CCS.

You can put them in as custom links on your toolbar like I did. (I used my DVC-Planner and DVC-Chart Icons but you can accept the defaults)

Then either page is just one click away, even when you first start your browser, it's just one click to either board. Here's a partial screen shot showing how it looks....

Assuming you're using the drop down menu at the bottom of the page, did you scroll down below the Rent/Trade option. It's there, but not visible unless I scroll down to see it.

It seems to be there on some pages, but not on others. Because the various forums use different templates, I think it's a matter of those templates being updated to reflect the changes. (or that's how it works on my discussion board *grin*)

I notice it's not on the DCL board, but it is here on the DVC board.

I can NOT get here from the "jump to" forum if I am on the CB.

This board is also not an option when "jumping forums" from the Transportation Board.

And that's what I was refering to in my first post....this board is available from some boards but not others. It doesn't seem to be a problem with other boards, so why this one?
