A few from yesterday- went to the Florida Aquarium with my daughters school field trip. Horrible lighting- all taken with the D700 & 28/1.4- from f1.4 to f2. Full EXIF is on Flickr.

You could have fooled me about the horrible lighting. All are very nice, especially considering you were probably surrounded by "bumpy" kiddos!

Mainly the WB was all over the road. The Jellyfish shot I had to drag the WB slider all the way to 50000 (not 5000- 50,000!) As-shot WB it was an indistinguishable blue blob. :rolleyes1

Fine shooting (and PP) under difficult circumstances. Kudos!

"Oh I'm so tired of those big things on the other side of the glass with those little black boxes. Can't they find something else to do. What the heck is cheese anyway?"

Thanks for sharing - AMAZING shots! And if I had any doubts about the validity of shooting RAW, I guess now I'm completely convinced!

love the ray shot, although now that i see they have teeth i may not be hand feeding them at the touch tank they have at our zoo in summer:goodvibes
