The Fifth Restaurant, FW Viewing

We booked the Grand Legacy for our upcoming trip end of month.

No parks on the arrival day. booked their restaurant The Fifth for 8 pm with intent to watch the park’s fireworks that day.

Their procedure is you put down a CC to guarantee & agree to a $35 pp minimum and get a table for 2 hours.

Barring weather etc issues, I assumed that was perfect time slot to view the FW. As long as we are seated promptly and flight is on time lol

Has anyone viewed the FW from the Fifth? Do you recommend?

Here’s the current schedule from DL website. Have never stayed offsite, wondering which group(s) of FW we would be able to view.

I haven't watched the fireworks from Grand Legacy but I've watched from Harbor before. With their balcony seating I bet you'd have a good view. You'll be able to see whatever is on Main St, so Halloween Screams. The Star Wars fireworks are the same ones, but with different music and viewed from a different angle.

We have seen the fireworks from the 5th. It’s a pretty good view, for not being in the parks.

The two times we have eaten there, they have been very strict about the 2 hour limit. Once they had just brought us another round and then told us our time was up. Lol. So keep an eye on the time!

Yes, lol!

Yes, we were seated promptly. The second time we had our kids with us and didn’t have a reservation. We were staying at the grand legacy and they fit us in. That’s when we saw the fireworks. It was also our arrival night and a great way to start the trip.
