we don't have cats, we have a staff of feline exterminators.

except they seem to have fallen down on the job.

we had a visit from one of Mickey's "relatives" this morning. we found it in the empty garbage pail in the kitchen. lucky little rodent -- we took the pail outside onto the deck and let the mouse go free.

memo to the staff: don't let this happen again.

LOL~!!!!

ps youre much nicer than I would have been :)

LOL! Sorry, I know I shouldn't laugh but you made me do it!

I agree - if it were my house - the staff would be told NEVER to let this happen again.

the staff did get a lecture from me about their duties and responsibilities in the rodent department. :D

LOL!

My brother tells a story where his former (and my present) staff sat there watching him as he captured a mouse in his sink shouting "Do I have to do EVERYTHING around here myself?!!!!!"

What, you mean the feline exterminators are supposed to actually do something? When we had mice in the walls, the best Tycho would do was jump on the stove and yell at them. Luckily for him, the stove was rarely on. Wedge, of course, would only catch something if it was right in front of him on the cat tree.

my darlings bring home "presents" from the woods -- mice, moles and chipmunks.

guess it's more fun to catch them outside than in the house, huh?
