The "Farewell to PI" super meetup!

Since a LOT of people will be down for the last weekend of PI, we should get together an itinerary!

So who's going to be here, and what nights should we do what?

Well, my vacation was approved, so I'm off Sept 23 through October 2nd.

Yay for drinking and not needing to go to work the next day!

Doing better, still using the old pain killers. Percocet knocks me out in 4 hour blocks. After I get some food into me later today, I am going back to the Lortabs. I do believe that Lortab is a kissing cousin to Vicodin. I might share, if you ask nice. As for the outcome of the surgery, nothing really bad was found. I just had a dysfunctional gallbladder, probably due to an illness that almost killed me last year. Thankfully, I think this is the last bit of drama left over from that nightmare.

Wonderful news ConcK! I hope you have a wonderful vacation and get some much needed downtime and relaxation. Of course, the ability to safely and responsibly party your buns off is pretty darn nifty too!

Well, we are around for the last weekend, but we are doing the Expedition Everest Challenge on the 27th, which is the last night of PI, and there is a private party in animal Kingdom from 10 - midnight. We were thinking of going for the start and see waht it's like and if it's no good then go to PI.

Plus we were thinking of going to Mannequinns on the last 'gay Thursday'.

We'll be there the 15th to 23rd...a little early for the last hurrah, but, we're planning at least one night at PI, maybe two.

So, if anyone's interested in getting together in that range let me know.

I work in education, so September's a horrible time to want to take a vacation...but have fun for me!

We'll be there a little earlier - September 6th through 13th and will most likely be at AC every night. My mother in law will be with us, so the boozing will be slightly subdued this time

I also work in education, but, I discovered that if you resign half of your contract you get to only teach Feb-June and Sept. trips become possible.

(Yeah, yeah, there are other reasons, but, it's not such a wild idea, is it????)

Joe and I are thinking of going down but staying at Universal and goofing off at their parks for a long weekend, particularly due to Halloween Horror Nights.

We will definitely be at PI the last Thursday as well, 9/25. Certainly a stop into Mannequins and 8 Trax, then one of the Comedy Werehouse shows, and of course, Adventurers. If anyone wants to pick a spot/time to meet up, let me know!

Unless the "great new things in store" include the Adventurers Club, I dont' see how "it's all good".

The Adventurers Club is the pinnacle of Disney experiences for many of us. I doubt that I'll ever get that kind of a "wow" experience from "dining and retail options". So forgive me if I don't get excited and jump up and down with joy about "what's coming."
