I am very happy, but also surprised that Johnny is nominated. Not that he doesn't deserve it because he certainly does. It's just that the Oscars tend to go more for the dramas than comedies, but I am VERY happy! I'm sad that Sean Astin didn't get nominated though.

Supposedly the biggest surprises was cold mountain not getting a nod for best picture and nicole kidman for actress




Johnny is in a very tough category, and movies like this one tend to not win however, johnny was just, well, too good for words inthis role, so hopefully they will see that he needs to win because he's way overdue to win something big.





I just really hope he wins
