i think it kind of is supposed to be suggestive, actually. but i'm not completely sure.

So, uh, what's it about, exactly?

There's this planet, Pandora, and the military has been sent there while a company harvests a rock- Unobtainium.

Meanwhile, they're trying to move the native species and communities who are sitting on a large amount of this element, and so they train scientists, etc. to be able to take on the form of one of these "creatures" by creating them and being able to control them while "asleep" in a chamber. (the Avatars)

So this ex-Marine ends up going because his twin brother died (who was in training to be an Avatar operative), and they have the same genetic code so he can use the Avatar, too. He ends up being taken in by the tribe and learning their ways, etc. It's also interesting because in real life- he's a paraplegic, but when he's an Avatar, he can run again.

In the meantime though, the military is getting anxious, they want this rock so badly, they don't want to wait for the tribe to move. That's where all the bad stuff happens.

But the middle of the movie, where Jake is living and learning from the Na'avi- that's absolutely my favorite part. Pandora is beautiful, I gasped and my jaw dropped at some of the scenery. The Na'avi themselves are awesome.

The end of the movie is mostly action and fighting, so yeah it was pretty exciting xD
