i asked for it for christmas...is it as epic as they say it is?
i've only liked them for a little over a year (maybe longer, i lost track)...i had this amazingly cool art teacher freshman year who played their music for weeks on end...they just grew on me. now i LOVE THEM

It is definitely as epic as they say it is, if not epic-er. I'll probably be playing it a lot over break, as there's really nothing better to do. Lol. My dad always played their music in the car when I was like 6, so I've been a fan for a while.
And why couldn't I have had an amazingly cool art teacher?! At the beginning of the year she said we could bring in CDs if we wanted to listen to them so I brought in my Beatles CD's, yet she still put on Top 40 radio instead. It was terrible.

at one point i got upset when he started playing other things...so i begged him to put them back on.
i really started listening to them after i saw ferris bueller (because of twist and shout)....i now have about 150 of their songs on my ipod.
it's also because of them that i've become a bit of a music snob...i hate most current music.

Today, I had to reluctantly call my crush to cancel our first date because I came down with a bad cold. About 30 minutes after hanging up, I heard a knock on my door. There was my date with my favorite flowers, a huge bag of Reeses, kleenexes, and all three of the Monty Python movies. We watched them all in bed and snuggled. Perfect first date? I think so. Soulmates? Maybe MLIA

Ferris Bueller is seriously my favorite movie ever. Lol. Besides Lord of the Rings. And Howl's Moving Castle. I hate some current music (rap), but I actually think there's some good stuff out there. However, none of it compares to The Beatles/The Doors/Pink Floyd/Led Zeppelin/Queen.

i do like some current music (john mayer, coldplay, jason mraz, etc.) but nothing compares to the beatles/the kinks/wings/the stones/etc.
