What a horrible experience in Nassau! Your stories make me glad we just had the terrifying cab ride to the Atlantis! We felt safe there and really enjoyed the water park.

Thanks for the warning about the Yankees/Red Sox families, too! I'll tell DH and clan to leave their fan attire at home on our trip!

Not sure if you remeber me...but we chatted quite a ways back when I first starting planning my family's trip for this June (were back already and had a great time)

So first Congrats on the Marriage, new apartment and hopefully the most Wonderful! Disneymoon ever!

It all sounds good so far except for the day trip in Nassau...but the animal view upgrade at AKL...how awesome is that.

Can't wait to read more and I truely hope the Poly stay was way better than the last w/ your family.

We passed out Findining Nemo stickers, crayons, and assorted candies in Disney Ziploc baggies. Hopefully everyone enjoyed them.

We did, Josh, especially my kids who are huge Nemo fans. And we loved your Fish Extender, too, but as I commented on our cruise meet thread, you didn't leave any extra pockets for "expansion"! LOL!

I just spent a lot of time at work on the phone while reading you last trip and beginning this one. You plan great trips! We can't wait to do a Mickey cruise...the kids would love it! My husband and I did do another cruise line for part of our honeymoon (for 3 or 4 nights, I cannot remember!) before Mickey had a cruise and then More nights in The World. We thought Nassau was a bit shady too. We did not do any tours there. We walked around the shops a little. We were 25 and 26 years old (and probably looked younger than that) and Lou has long hair so maybe that contributed to the locals attitudes towards us but we were asked if we wanted to sell or buy illegal items many times in our quick walk around the market place. We finally decided to just go hang out on the boat. I think if we ever get out trip on the DCL we will skip Nassau too!
