The EPCOT restaurants need menu changes; Who agrees with me?

I think I'm just plain tired of having dinner at Mexico, Italy and Morocco. I guess I'm just spoiled because we go so much, but it seems like we've had the same choices for at least 5 years, probably more.

Or do people look forward to their old favorites?

I look forward to the old favorites, but wouldn't mind a change! Why not try different restaurants? We went to Alfredo's at the end of April, and the carpets were very worn, dirty, and smelly. I hope they change the carpets or at least give them a good washing. When we go this October, if it still smells the same way, I'm going to cancel our ressies....the smell stayed with me all night...yuck!

I think we've tried every restaurant (except the Rose and Crown, like I said in the other thread) in WDW!

I just mentioned those ones because they were always our favorites, but I'm getting tired of the same old thing. I haven't seen a menu change at any of the EPCOT and MK restaurants for years. I'm not sure about the MGM ones...

The Epcot restuarants have made at least some changes. I know because they used to have some of my favorites and they don't anymore. Rose and Crown used to have a wonderful Prime Rib with roasted potatoes and they don't anymore. My friend was very disappointed that the Chinese restaurant used to have a certain duck dish on the menu that she loved and its no longer there either.

I think that since WDW is primarily a travel destination (I know there are locals who eat there too) the menus should remain pretty stable since most people don't go enough to try all of the things that they want to try as it is.

As I think about my favorite restaurants at home, there menus don't really change that much either. They have daily speicals that are different but other than that I can be rest assured that I can get the dish I've been wanting and that made me go to that restaurant in the first place.

Maybe the Epcot restaurants could have daily specials to accomidate those who want something different.

I'd like to see the restaurants keep 2 or 3 specialties always on the menu and otherwise have different items depending on the season or availability of ingredients.
