I'm ready,for Christmas to be tomorrow. After 5 years of being at the mall during Christmas, I'm over the moon about Christmas!

I'm kinda being the same way about planning since they will have opened skippers canteen and the Edison downtown. And most likely have rivers of light going. So this may throw everything off!!! But I must plan!!!

I was kind of ready for Halloween to be over. But I always worry about being Christmas'd out too early as well. Lol. And thankfully our Thanksgiving is in October so we are just a straight shot to Christmas now!

I agree, leave the schedule alone. You may want to jot down notes as they come up when you read up on things but it can drive you nutty too. Although sometimes it's nice to just stare at it and think those happy thoughts(and sometimes it is stressful!)

Oh man I can't wait for Skippers Canteena!!!!!

Ugh, thats the only downfall for me to the holidays. I love Christmas, but since I picked up a second job working retail it kinda puts a damper on my Christmas spirit sometimes!

Everything going into Disney Springs has helped me pump the brakes on my trip planning. I've always loved downtown Disney... my husband not so much. He doesnt like shopping, and thats primarily what we used to go there for. So we would only spend a half day there. I'm hoping with the addition of all the cool new restaurants and bars I'll be able to talk him into spending more time down there. Mayeb even more so if POR is included in free dining next year!

Christmas starts a little sooner here in Buffalo for us because we have to get our Christmas lights on the house before it snows.. Which actually since were getting some crazy 60-70 degree weather this week the lights will probably get done sooner than later.. because who knows, we could get 8ft of snow next week!

Parking is the most terrible thing ever invented during November and December. I worked on all the stressed shoppers. Needless to say. Last year I was so over and done and wanted Christmas over. I feel like Elf this year and I'm so excited for it to be here! May help that my 15 month old is going to be a blast.

And planning I will still do... things may just get shuffled or replaced. My spreadsheet for this trip actually help land my part time TA position lol! She saw my spreadsheet and had to call one of the other ladies into the office to see it haha

Hey Tori! I'm here and excited to read all about your Disney plans! This trip you have planned sounds amazing and so much fun!!! I give you credit for going with a big group! I went with 5 other girls (as you saw in my TR), and that had its ups and downs lol

So anyway, I recently picked up a second job to help out with finances, and make getting to Disney a little easier on the wallet. With my new job slingin' Froyo, I get tips. I decided that any hard cash I make will be going right into our vacation fund. I’d been keeping it in a big plastic animal cracker container, and this weekend I decided to get a little creative.

I love this idea! And it looks so cute!

I also had a good day at Hot Topic! I picked up a few things that I'll probably save to wear when we take our trip!

OH MY GOSH. I LOVE Hot Topic!!!!!!! I have bought so many disney shirts/bows/jewelry/ect there it's crazy! They have some of the best stuff!

It may change in the future.. but for the time being we are officially booked at Caribbean Beach Resort for September 28 - October 8, 2016!!

I actually decided one day I was going to go for it again. I sent requests to like 15 different places to see if they were hiring. Most non local disney only companies. I got a call back in an hour from a local place here who wanted me to come talk to her right away. I'm an outside agent for her, so I fall under her insurance as a contractor. But I work whatever hours I want because I have to pull all of my own clients. Which means I'm not overwhelmed with my full time job and two kids and still do what I love on the side!!!

Thanks for joining in! I'm definitely in for some tough planning, but I'm excited for the challenge! I get pretty much all of my Disney/Harry Potter stuff from Hot Topic lol We don't have a Disney store near by so its pretty much Hot Topic and the occasional online order.

I've heard rumors that the tiers might end up changing anyway? Or maybe that's just while Soarin' is under refurb?

The only reason I chose Sci-Fi is because it was a request from my SiL. Hubby and I have been to 50's Prime Time before (I got the Apple Pie milk shake!!) I figure we will try out Sci-Fi and if its just "meh" then we won't be back.

and I made myself a Disney Vera Bradley decal!!!

I know this may not excite others the way it does for myself, but I just had to share!!!!!!

Its never too early to start planning. You have to keep occupied some way until you hit that 180 day mark!
