So, after many years of dining with my son at Disney world, I've observed that the most common crayon color you get with the children's menu is red by a landslide... Followed by blue, then green, then orange... But yellow is elusive. We've gone whole trips without ever seeing a yellow crayon. On your next trip, see what your kids get.

Why the dearth of yellow crayons?

My son got one tonight at citricos leading me to conclude that maybe yellow is reserved for the grand only.

And yes, this is an extremely random post.

Mods - I realized this would be better in Disney for families. Sorry! If you have a chance to move it, thank you.

I believed you see less yellow cause it is harder to see when they do the activity sheets. Most restaurants when you go out I have notice package them in threes or twos in the colors red, green, and blue.

Agreed- the few times my kids have been given yellow crayons they end up not using them since you can hardly see the color on the white paper with the lighting that is typically found at restaurants.
