This morning we slept in and ate big breakfast at hotel, which was nice. We went to Epcot about 11am. My oldest son was in a very bad mood!! He didn't want to wait for anything! But then we went on cranium command and he thought it was funny!! They then rode body wars and we met my dad at the Land. We left there and headed to USA where my mom had gone to see a show.( my brother and sister left for home this morning)Me and 3 boys stopped at the Coke section and then took the boat over to Germany. That was very nice!We met everyone at USA and then went to Japan for lunch at the counter service which was very good. My mom and dad wanted to stay in WS and we had PS for Ice Cream social at 3pm. So me,DH,4 kids and MIL went to the Garden Grille. This was a nice break and good opportunity to get pictures and autographs. The ice cream was good but the boys couldn't eat it all. I almost finished mine! My MIL and DH didn't want any. I thought they would get charged anyway, but they didn't. I didn't care for the rest. that much thought it seemed a little shabby. After Mickey came, by I used the last picture!! I panicked, but they sold film at front and the day was saved!! After this , the boys decided that they wanted to ride rides so we hopped over to MK and did a few rides and watched fireworks! This was a great day!!We went back to the hotel and swam, did laundry, ate and went to bed!!Oh, I forgot to mention that on Tues. afternoon our package from florist showed up. It was a "Cool Snacks" pack with 2 cokes, a lot of snacks and I added a photo album, pair of ears, stuffed animal and an auto book with a pen. I got everything but the auto book! I called Tues. afternoon and they sent the book over Wednesday. Almost pointless by this time, but my son,Ethan was able to use it when we went to Animal Kingdom on Thursday. Tomorrow--Animal Kingdom, and we head home!

Did you try the Beverely coke? It is awful. It's sad knowing you have to head home the next day, isn't it.

I am having fun working my way through your trip reports. I am taking our 1.5 DD to WDW in January -- so I have a couple of questions for you:

1. Did you take any nap breaks for the little ones?

2. How many strollers did you have with you?

3. At the icecream social, did they charge you for the 1.5 year old? Did you get a lot of character interaction at this thing?

Thanks in advance!

the one that tastes like apple cider......sure hit the spot.....thanks again ....

Too bad your special package was so late and incomplete.

That ice cream social sounds wonderful, I'm going to have to experience that one of these days.

Thanks for sharing your day with us.

Sorry it took so long to get back to you. Yes, we did go back to the hotel about 2:30 to take naps. I brought 1 umbrella stroller w/us and it was awful just pushing from where bus dropped us off to the front gate, so we started renting a double stroller. They are great and move so easily. Now here is what my DH and I decided we should have done. Back in 1999 we stayed at the all stars and you had to carry your stroller on the bus w/you. I have a nice large one for our 1.5 yr old but didn't want to lug it on and off the bus. However, at the Marriott the bus driver would put and take off the stroller for you from a compartment under the bus. Since we did take a midday break at 2:30, by the time we got everyone asleep, changed, etc. it was after 5 and the only park open late was Epcot. So we went there 2 nights and stayed until 9 and didn't get back to hotel until 10 or so. I know this is long, but I am trying to make myself clear. So if we go at off season again, we will probably just take our nice stroller and let our 1.5 yr old sleep in it in the parks and stay until closing then return to hotel and try to get to bed earlier. You probably want to know why we didn't just leave around noon. Well, by the time we got to the park at 9, got the strollers and got into main section of the parks. it was near 10--we have 8,6 yr olds who want to do everything and by 12 or 1 we just weren't ready. That is why I wish they would have not cut back hours or either kept early entry. Both our 1.5 yr old and 3 yr old became pretty cranky and usually aren't and we assume it was the schedule we kept. Now to the ice cream social--it was great. The ice cream was good, but my 1.5 yr old slept thru it and so she didn't get one. But 2 people could easily have shared. My DH and MIL were there too and didn't want one and they didn't get charged. It was a cheaper way to meet characters esp. Mickey and get good interaction and pictures. Not alot of excitement though. ANd even though the rest. turns slowly, I got dizzy(sounds stupid ,huh?) I hope I answered everything ok!!

Thanks for posting, sounds like a fun Epcot day! :)
