We went to Busch Gardens yesterday and it was busy but not too bad, although there were wait times of 45 mins just for the log flume!
Went on Sheikra which is awesome and then went to our most favourite place in the whole park - the water blasters at the rapids. these things soak the riders more than any other and we had great fun!!!
It was off to Clearwater and something we had never done before. Nice drive approx 50 mins and when we arrived at Clearwater Beach it was busy!! We found our hotel - Red Roof Inn and checked in. Not the most friendly of guys in the Lobby but it was a hot day!!!
Got in the room and it had a sea view and was ok. I took an instant dislike to the room and area and burst out crying - I wanted to be back in Orlando!!
DH persuaded me to go for a walk and we both soon realised that there was not too much to do. In fact, places looked like a run down flats in Greece - it wasnt nice!! Ghost town atmosphere at night, full of bikers and gangs of lads. It reminded me of a really really run down british seaside resort but worse!!!
We watched the sunset which was awesome and the beach is gorgeous white sand and it was fun watching the pelicans feed from Pier 60.
We were staying here for 3 nights but we have now checked out of the hotel and my DH is on another PC trying to find us another hotel back in Orlando !!!!
Dont know where we will be or what we will be doing for the next couple of days but will post back when I can.
Let the adventure begin.................
