This cruise is a surprise Christmas gift for DW with a couple days in WDW area after. Really hoping to find any info on the fish extender group seems like a great way to meet new Disney Cruisers. I would appreciate any information on how it works or signing up.

If its all organized and run through the DIS boards we should be able to plan an FE since these are meet up forums.

That's a great point as FEs have been managed here on the DIS since they first began (also here on the DIS).

Cruise Meet threads are doing just fine still managing meet and FE discussions right here on the DIS.

FE organizers generally need stateroom numbers, first names/ages of children, and allergies to be considered in order to set up the FE. Other personal information is not really necessary. Those organizing FEs typically ask for the information to be posted in the meet thread or sent to them via PM.

Awesome I know nothing at all about the FE other than what I have seen on the boards. Is there anyone on this thread that has participated and/or run one before? Also how many people would be interested in doing one for this cruise?

I'm from eastern Iowa, dad taking 2 boys, 7 and 9 on their first cruise (mine too). We are coming in Friday afternoon, and staying at animal Kingdom. Then do magic KingDom and Hollywood studios.

Since it does not look like we are going to get an FE going. Does anyone have any plans for a meet up once onboard? It is going to be my DW and myself, leaving our little one at home this time around. Both going to be glad to escape Chicago winter, if it shows up that is, and relax a bit before heading to OKW on the back end of the trip.

Hi everyone. We have just booked two cabins. One for DW 43 and myself 43, we've cruised with Disney 10 times. And one for my parents, both 64 who have never been cruising before.

For those posting in this Cruise Meet thread to join a FE, if no one comes forward to organize a FE for this cruise, anyone can organize the FE right in this thread.

All it takes is someone willing to get it going!

My husband and I. Booked the Feb 9th cruise. It is our very first one!! So looking forward to the fun and relaxing. Sure would love to meet other first timers!!

This is our first cruise ever. My husband and I have one 8 year old son. I have been pouring over information regarding the disney cruise, and I found the information on fish extenders.

We would love to be a part of this!
