So here I am... Attempting to make my own custom aisle runner. I've got the runner, my humongeous monogram, paints and brushes at the ready, when I think to myself, "Self? Is the aisle REALLY 75 feet long?"
Faithfully, I run to the Disboards to search the unending knowledgebase of all of you wonderful past and present brides!
'lo and behold, there are copious amounts of posts about aisle runners, but no real definitive answers.
I've found that the actual aisle itself is 64' long, however Disney recommends a 75' runner. If that's the case, exactly where do those extra 9' go? Out the door? Does the 64' take you to the 1st set of closed doors (the ones the bride waits behind before she and her father enter
), or to the actual exit ones?
Does anyone have the real answer? Or has someone ordered an aisle runner from somewhere and remembers what length they told them to make it NOT go out the door?
I just don't want to paint that monogram in the wrong place, and my goal is to have it IN the pavilion!
(Yes, I could call Disney to check on Monday, but I was hoping to paint this this weekend and didn't have the doubts about the length until I started, and I'm running out of weekends for projects!
