"The Ditch"

Here you go. Yet again from The Disney Food Blog (a really cool site BTW):thumbsup2

I had the Aguacate margarita while the wife had the Naranja Roja. Both were excellent and a darn good pour. We felt better walking out, that's for sure. Not that we felt bad walking in....we were at Disney! ;)

We also loved the Crab Tostadas and Ceviche!!

I'm with you Kate! But my DH just saw the menu and said "I wouldn't pay 12.50 for any drink." :(

And I'll return the favor, Kate! I have no problem with it, either! ;) Especially seeing the size of them! What are the drinks in the center lined up on the white plate? They look pretty tasty too!

That's the Shrimp Ceviche...aka....shrimp cocktail but really good! Next time we are ordering two of those. You get those four in one order.

OMG, okay, I HAVE to go there! Next question, is it only for the over 21's? We'll be there with DD - who will be 17 at the time.

Hmmm...good question. They serve food, so I bet it's considered a restaurant, so they let in underage peeps. Hope so, because DD is 5.5 and won't pass for 21. :rotfl2:

Wow! The food and drinks look awesome. I have a reservation for San Angel Inn next week for lunch, but LCDT's small plate menu looks more inviting than SAI's latest lunch menu.

Anyone can go in and sit down in the Ditch. No one checking ID at the door.

I made a light lunch of the Guacamole and Tostadas de Tinga one day, along with a very tasty Pepino Margarita! It was wonderful! I highly recommend it!

Yes they allow minors inside. They can even order food, but of course no booze. There's a pretty good nonalcoholic frozen drink.

Where is "the ditch"? Do you need an ADR? I must go here!

At EPCOT, inside the Mexican Pyramid where the San Angel Inn restaurant is located. It's to the right as you walk in. No ADR's are taken and it's quite small.

Explanation of the term "The Ditch" as a nickname for this place comes from the fact that "Cava" translates on some online Spanish/English dictionaries to "ditch or excavation" and "Excavation of Tequila" is too hard to say after you've had a couple of shots. I think they were going for "cave" though.

I had the margarita flight there back in November... if you can't decide which drink to order, this is the way to go! After I tried them, I liked the avocado one so much I ordered a full-size one to go! :rolleyes1
