First, thanks for all your info on DL. We are planning our first ever trip to DL in May of 06 and POC is one of our favorite things. Is there any time frame set yet for the remodel? Please let it be open in May!!!!!

sorry this is late. but i got caught up in black friday sales yesterday. HP4 was the bomb. anyway hope you all had a wonderful thanksgiving. this update is still about christmas. yes. NOS(New Orleans Square) is all decorated for the holidays and trees and wreaths are up. You think this is bad with all the holiday cheer in November, I was watching holiday specials in SEPTEMBER My local supermarket had a big snowglobe with santa in it in AUGUST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyway, Santa's Reindeer roundup is still very popular and Santa is sahying hello to all the little boys and girls. Santa's beach party blast is a smash hit over in DCA. Monster's INC. has reported a soft opening to be the week of christmas!!!!!!! HPB(Hollywood pictures backlot is decorated for the holidays as well. Construction over at the animation house has finished. Their are now signs saying about the featured events there. DCA's Cheristmas Tree is now so beautiful. And a special event, during Remember, SWH lights up with beautiful lights for the holiday. Thank you all for tuning into this late update.

About soft opening for Monsters Inc.....does the week of Christmas mean the week before or after? We will be there on the 15th thru the 20th and are soooooo hoping it will be open by then....Thanx for the updates!

Darth - another question regarding the "soft opening"....does that mean the ride will STAY open? We are coming mid-January and I know the kids (and adults) would love to ride it. Thanks!

POC is schedule to be refurbished March 6 – June 16, 2006.

sorry this update has been delayed. the host that i refer to has been down with illness. So here it is. The Mayor of Disneyland has been out enjoying himself. he has been introduced and is now enjoying himself. The Christmas Fantasy Parade is a big hit still. The monorail has gone under a refurb due to repairing and replacing the track in Fantasyland and the sub lagoon. Monsters inc. however has announced previews to beginn around x-mas!!!!! Space Mtn. has had a 15 min wait. not bad!!! Buzz was 10 min! This was in the middle of the week and the middle of the day!!!!!! That's it

Monsters Inc: Mike and Sully To the Rescue! has been soft opening the last two days. Excellent ride, when it comes to dark rides this one is better then, dare I say, Roger Rabbit or Buzz. With some great effects the adults are loving it as much as the kids. Should not let you down.
