[Fairywings]

Since people have been wanting this and I've got nothing better to do, I figured I'd put it up.

I took inspiration for the title from the Avengers Initiative and its definition - bringing together a group of extraordinary people to take on a challenge others couldn't face.

So The Disney Initiative is bringing together a group of talented people to make Disney magic more epically than other people could.

Besides, young people have a better idea of what will entertain the current generations than others, eh?

So here's how it goes:

Disney has recruited new talent to make new Disney movies and new Disney Broadway shows. The stage people (actors and crew) will focus on mostly Broadway. Movie and TV actors will focus mostly on the movies. Instrumental musicians will be working on music for either one, and singers will also go either way. Dancers will be focusing on mostly Broadway. The writers will be working on scripts and screen writing. Artists (like the make visual art kind) can do stage crew for Broadway or animation. Disney has placed these talented people looking to make their breaks in a special resort made just for them. Each person or sibling set has their own room. They will do their work and there is the option to take classes (like school or college classes) as well, and of course there is hanging out and interactions and such.

So, for characters (you only need the part before the colon)-

Name: Your name obviously. First and last, if you please, even if it's something ridiculously common like Smith or Jones or Johnson or Jackson or Miller or Taylor. See, I just gave you like six possible names!
Age: There's not exactly a limit on ages, barring they have to be a teenager (which means 13+) but I highly recommend having older characters, but not too old (the 16-25 range is probably best) because we want them to still be relatable, you know?
Appearance: Also obvious. I at least need a description, though if you have a photo or a polyvore or something that might be a great reference tool for you, but all I need is a description, anything additional would be mostly for your purposes, though I may decide to put any image links next to your character's name on the front page when we get going.
Personality: Again, obvious.
Talent: This is where you put what they do, i.e. actor, writer, singer, dancer, etc (though with the uptown blogger thing I don't anticipate having tons of writers)

If you have anything else you want to include, just add Optional: after talent and put whatever it is there.

Ask any questions you like. You can have as many characters as you like, I know I'll have a ton, between Famous and the few from that Hawkins Academy thing that never panned out and a couple others. Only rules are don't be a jerk and no one can have the same first name. Also, try not to have too many of one talent, though that's more of a guideline than a rule, I just think it would be cooler if there was more variety.

Personality: Renee likes to consider herself a star. Just graduated high school where she was the token bubbly blonde who won the "Most Likely to be on Broadway" yearbook superlative. She's as much of a white girl as a white girl can get- daily Frappuccinos, sighing over One Direction, and worshiping Seventeen mag included. She's a loud, fantastic Soprano and a gifted dancer. Wanted to go to college, but was too afraid to apply- she didn't think her grades would take her anywhere. Thankfully, Disney snapped her up for the initiative program before applying to colleges even began. Hopefully she can keep up.
