Was having a look on the dc website and it had a link for the new visa card which is replacing the dc card.

I emailed guest services to ask if it was available to UK guests and if not what were we getting as a replacement for dc.

Their reply was :

Dear David,

Thank you for your recent correspondence regarding the close of The Disney Club. At this time we do not have a replacement for the Disney Club.

Ending the program was a difficult decision; however, after assessing our Guests needs, Disney felt that stronger relationship building and cross-promotional vehicles could be delivered to our Disney Guests through other methods.

Any questions referring to the Disney Co-branded Visa can be directed to the following phone number or web address:

Call: (888) 688-4868
Online: www.disneysecret.com

Once again, we would like to thank you for taking the time to share your comments and concerns with us. Disney always encourages our Guests to express their feelings and opinions regarding any issue.

Sincerely,

The Disney Club
Dottie

In other words " Tough ! "

Only US citizens are eligable for the new Disney Visa Card.

David :(

...... yes, I submitted my e-mail address for notification of the new scheme, chose the No option for 'are you US citizen' and it said '...you must be a U.S. resident to receive notification on Disney's Visa Credit Card from Bank One'.

Typical - ah well better make full use of it before it runs out - I can feel a trip to TDS coming on lol !!
