considering it is like the 2nd most spoken language in the U.S., i believe it's a good idea. also, speaking spanish is convenient when you are in a foreign country,etc. i am pretty fluent in spanish, and i know it's helped me out.

But we are not a spanish speaking country. This is America. Not Mexico, or any other spanish speaking country. We should stick to English. If we were meant to speak another language, it would of been decided from day one.

Also, is anyone else going to watch Obama's half hour on all major news channels that he bought? He bought major news channels out in your area for he can make a speech. I am going to watch it on my local channels because that's all that is going to be on. But don't worry, Disney Channel will still be on!! =]]

what if someday the situation occurs that you may somehow have to talk to someone that speaks only spanish? it's happened to me, and my knowledge of spanish has helped a TON. spanish is the 2nd most spoken language in the U.S.
