I was JUST thinking this! I have been letting dry clothes tumble in the dryer for 30 minutes, I have dry clothes on the line that need to be folded as well, a load in the washer that needs to be switched over, and another load that needs to be washed!

Count me in! My laundry needs to flipped as well, and I have a pile of papers on the counter that I planned to deal with before the new week gets rolling - but where am I?....right here.

I think we need a timer that you have feed money (or some sort of tokens) into in order to continue using the item, kind of like a parking meter. - I'll take one for me for the computer, and two for DS for the TV and the Wii!

there's an idea for the DIS board admins (I'll even write it for them). A program that locks you out after 15 minutes of activity for an hour (obviously those times can be tuned for your own needs). Also entirely voluntary. but I've found I can blow a day easily reading all the posts. There's just so much info here and so many interesting people and stories.

I think I've got a solution! DS and I are currently competing in a "Media Hours Challenge." We have a chart, kind of a bar graph, and for every 15 minutes we spend on our individual media vortexes, we have to color a block. Shortest bar at the end of the week wins. Yesterday, I was only on the computer for a hour the whole day!

I'm so glad to learn that I'm not the only one with this issue (addiction). I will go and do a chore, or take the dogs for a walk and then come and sit down at the computer and before I know it another hour has slipped by.

My excuse is that chatting on the computer is the only contact I have with DH when he is working away, as he has no cell phone service where he works. So while we chat I'm also Dis-ing.
