The Dis Mule

I'm thinking about creating a mule for Dis gifting. For example, we have one dis member sign on each day and use the mule. They member can not take out anything from the account or spend the credits. The dis member must pass certain crietria to help ex. must have been an active member of dis and have at least a certain number of post etc. because this whole thing will be based on trust. ex. i know we have the best haunted mansioners on dis so they could play and get the charcter a lot of money so that we can have money to pay for stuff for contests. But we only start spending when the person has at least 50,000 credits or another credit limit. If we have someone who is good at other stuff to get the free stuff like ice cube or if someone has the time to play everest a lot to donate the pins. This is what this mule is for. Any ideas? Any questions? Anyone willing to do this?

That was what I was going to say... can't share accounts like that not good to do

Now if you want to create a mule that you use for DIS stuff- I do that a lot- before Thanksgiving I created DISTurkey and actually have a character that would be great for Valentine's day giving... and another for Easter... I just every now and then create a mule for a distant holiday and start running it through for credits when I do myself and before long it has lots and lots of credits and when needed can get what is needed...

I created a few for Christmas that I used to send Christmas gifts to people and to get a few buyable things for random players- these mules now have no credits- but they do have cute names that can be used again another time- I just log in as them and start working on credits again lol

So although it is a sweet idea- and really nice- it is a big violation of VMK values and would get everyone into lots of trouble.

Check with Mal and Lori though - they seem to have a few surprises up their sleeves and would probably love someone to have a mule here and there that could purchase things as prizes...

I agree with Tampa and VirtuallyMe, you aren't supposed to share logins or passwords so this would be a big no-no.

Thank you for the thought, but this would be very much against the rule of not sharing VMK account information. You could certainly make a mule for your personal gifting as many others have done.

Mal and I would accept any donations people would like to give for future contests though!

I made about 6 mules with Christmas names in December, I'm running them through the credit machine now and saving them for next Christmas.
