I have to hav coffee in th morning or else I'm tired all day. I never used to drink it until I started working 6:00am - 3:00pm. I love my hours but I need coffee that early in the AM. What's bad is that I'm so used to getting up at 4:30am that even if DBF and I stay up really late on the weekend I still wake up super early.

But it is a very Northwest thing to talk about the weather. I don't know WHY, really, because it's basically usually CRAPPY...

That's only ever happened once that I can think of. I had a jack-*** boyfriend, he was being a supreme jerk as I was driving him somewhere (because he didn't have a car mind you), so I pulled over on the side of the freeway and told him to get out of my car. I used bad words and everything, and my voice was about 2 octaves lower than normal. I have NEVER been so mad in my life, before or since!

It was very surreal.

Today was just hysterically funny.. like my healthy food was going to renegade on his big ole cake.

Well, I am sure he was thinking that that food used to be in the ground or touching the ground...

OMG! I love it! See I like yours because the colors look good and bright. Some that I've see look really washed out. Could this be because they're old? How long have you had yours?

god i hate that...i have a fairy on my back and the color is getting washed out...my girls hair is supposed to be black and it looks grey and the stars are not yellow anymore...i need to go back in and get it touched up...maybe I will this week

If I lotion my leg it "pops" more. I've been very bad about sunscreen this year, need to buy more and slather it on. Stayed nice because it doesn't see the sun that much

A friend's DH is a graphic artist, and he said yellow is a very unstable color, it fades (or discolors somehow) very quickly. We were talking in reference to scrapbooking paper and ink stamping, but I assume the same thing applies to tattoo ink.

Geez... I have one just above my wrist, where I get the most sun. It is so faded, and I have only had it for... Ummm....8 years or so. I have one on my back that has never seen the light of day, and I have NO idea how that is fairing. Its probably all stretched out and deformed!

sarah I have one that has no color...it was done in black ink and yes it stayed better than the one I have of my fairy

Probably. The one I have on my arm is blue and green, I is so faded that you cant hardly distinguish the colors.

Gosh... Now I am sitting here looking at it. I think there used to be yellow on it too, but it isnt even there anymore.

I've had it 3 years now, the yellow is still good!

I was picky about the eyes, Tink has a tendency to look cross eyed if drawn wrong.

Closed eyes.. no problem


Here's hubby's leg , done at the same time as mine-- this is also a "fresh" unhealed tattoo.

unfortunately he had some wound issues in the past year and now it has scarring on the lower edge.
