The different resorts

My last post has just got me thinking who out there has stayed at every DVC resort within WDW and who has stayed at all of the cash resorts. It is my aim to stay at every resort on site though I do intend to count DVC resorts that are latched on to hotels as one resort (i.e BC and BCV).
Has anyone done this either on purpose or without noticeing due to been there so often. Is there anyone else out there who aims to do this?

Just decided that yes I do want to stay for at least one night in both the All Star Movies and All Star music for this reason) will also save me a few dollars into the bargain!!LOL. DW may not be too impressed with this though.

At one time we did want to try and stay at all the resorts and were getting pretty close. Once we stayed at GF though that idea sort went to the sidelines. Then we bought DVC and the thought is now gone.

We were working on doing just that. Bought into DVC and now after 2 home stays are going to start to bounce around the DVCs . We will stay on some AP rates to hit the cash ones and save points for a quick weekend trip.

Members since '93, and have stayed at all 7 DVC resorts. Mostly at OKW but at every other resorts on a number of occassions.

My brother's got me beat. He owns all 8 DVC resorts. That's right, he just bought AKV to add to his other seven resorts. He has something like 11 total contracts. ( I only have 4).

As for hotels, depends on how you want to count Pop and All Stars. (IE, is All stars one resort, or three?)

Outside of those values (which we do on weekends sometimes), have stayed at only two others. (PO and CB).

Staying at all the DVC's on site is pretty easy to do. The only DVC I have left is Vero Beach...and my brother stayed there on my points.

The hotels on the other hand... I still want to try the Contemporary, Poly, Grand Floridian, Swan/Dolphin, Caribbean Beach, Coronado and maybe, just maybe the Yacht Club. Plus I want to tent camp. I don't need to try Pop since I've stayed at AllStars and as mentioned there isn't any need to stay at the hotel side of resorts with DVC's. Swan/Dolphin isn't Disney but I like the hotel(s) and would enjoy giving them a try.

We're working towards staying everywhere once - and as of this June, we'll have stayed at all existing DVC's with the exception of BCV (the one resort I am not interested in trying). I'm hoping for AP rates to add weekends at untried resorts to the end of our June and July trips , but the only resorts I have not been to that I am really, really anxious to visit are the POLY and AKL. The GF and CR don't appeal to me much, but I do want to try them eventually just to say I did.

Not sure if my response counts since we aren't DVC members (yet). We've been going to WDW since '99 and have stayed at all of the Moderate resorts, WL (absolute favorite), CR, & AKL (second favorite). Don't really have a desire to stay at one of the value resorts and after our less-than-pleasant experience at CR don't know that I want to try Poly.

Once we become DVC members (hopefully soon) I want to try all of the DVC resorts!

We probably won't be going down to WDW until October, unless we work a little three day weekend trip in, and it is a little depressing to not have a trip in 'the works' just yet.

An admirable goal... one I would like to aspire to!

I have stayed at OKW, CBR, CSR, and POFQ.

DH has stayed at Poly, WL, CBR, CSR, POFQ, POR (when Dixie Landings), ASMo, and OKW.

My fav so far is Coronado. I love the feel of the resort. I can't wait until our DVC membership comes through and I can try BWV, BCV, VWL. I would really like to stay at CR one day, hopefully DVC. GF doesn't interest me.

Hubby's fave is Poly. He hates values and refuses to stay there, so I will likely never be trying one.

On our upcoming trip we will be staying at SSR and (hopefully) BWV, which will give us all of the DVC resorts except for AKV (that will be next). We tend to break up our stay between DVC during the week and non-DVC on the weekends. We are trying to work our way through the mod's and values as well. To date we have covered POP, ASMu, CBR and CSR. We may 'collect' POFQ or POR as well during our next trip. As for the non-DVC deluxe resorts... we'll see what happens.

Coronodo has a special place in my heart because it was where we took our first on-site vacation (although I stayed at FW as a child). I've stayed at OKW, SSR, and VWL so far and SSR reminds me of Coronado the most. It has many of the features I liked - mosaic fountains, walking paths, good CS restaurant atmosphere, a similar pool-set up, and a nicely themed playground.

If you Coronado, I'd sugggest a stay at SSR.

Our first on-site vacation was at the Polyn - Grandmother paid for it!!! Every summer until she died.
