The difference in crowds for the summer months/spring break?

We are thinking about a WDW in the summer or spring break of 2016. I am a teacher, so I need to keep to typical vacation times. If we go in the summer, is there a big difference between say June 13th (all of July) to about the 2nd week of August? We went in early June 2013 during SWW and it was very busy then. I would like to have a less crowded time, but that may not be possible for the summer. How about Spring Break? How do the crowds March 19-27 compare to the summer months? I would much prefer March since it is much cooler and I don't deal with heat very well, but if we go in the summer, we can have a longer vacation - 10 days in the summer compared to 7 during spring break. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Since Easter is March 27, that week is going to be incredibly busy - much busier than June.

I would go as early in June as possible.

Exactly what Alesia said - early in June is going to be less busy because schools up North are likely still in session. If you aren't there for SWW avoid the studios on the weekend and you can stay ahead of the crowd.

Having been many times in the summer and the week before Easter in the past, it will be insanely busy the week before Easter. Earlier in June will be nowhere near as crowded. It will be busy, but nothing like the week at Easter.

If your spring break was earlier then I would say do that but ones that fall around Easter are crazy busy. Early June is not too bad. Ive been then and did quite well...most of the summer crowds are just beginning. I travel in the summer too since I'm a teacher as well and always manage just fine in the summer. One big bonus to summer is the parks tend to have longer hours which helps with crowds.

See when your spring break. In my county, the kids are sometimes on spring break a week or so prior to Easter. If that's the case for you, it won't be too busy. Unfortunately (like every holiday) the week of Easter is very crowded :(
