This is definitely a messy project. The destruction has started. The floor in the mud area, laundry room and bathroom has been ripped out and in the process of being replaced. The sofits and ceiling is coming down. Some of the cabinets are down and there is DUST everywhere. But I don't mind. I am going to let the 'current' dust protect the furniture from the future dust.

I ordered the new kitchen set yesterday after lots of paralysis by analysis. We decided to go with Saloom Furniture. Its like Canadel but it is maple instead of birch and it has more contemporary choices for the base, chairs, etc. You can chose the chairs, base, color, table shape, size, etc and they customize it. I got a great deal locally, even after calling large discounters out of state. It will be ready in 3 weeks. I don't think the kitchen will.
Oh dear Lord, I would lose my mind!
