The deliciousness has landed!

I'm pretty sure the beer you're talking about in Germany is Spaten Optimator.

Very good stuff indeed! :thumbsup2

Thanks for the reviews.:goodvibes We love the Biergarten.:thumbsup2 Another person who has yet to try Figaro Fries. We'll be trying Kona this summer though, for breakfast. DS9 wants to try Tonga Toast and who I am I to argue with a kid who's first choice for dining is at the Poly.:lovestruc

France kiosk: Lemon Citron slush. I always get the Kir Royal, but I was looking for something different. The guys ahead of me got the Citron Slush so I asked them about it. They said it was refreshing, that was all I needed to hear. And it was refreshing and not too sweet. Just what I was looking for.

Love that slushie!!!!:thumbsup2

Lemon Citron Slushie are the best!! I Can't wait for more reviews!!!

Did the rains just stink last week! We actually timed it pretty well and ended up in them only a couple of times, but the coldness of them was just yuck! This why I love going in the fall, it seems never to rain.

I am loving your thread....getting me so excited for our upcioming trip!!! Keep it coming...must try those kakagori s on the next trip--the kids would love them!

Great reviews, I'm loving your descriptions! Do you happen to know how much the beer flight at Biergarten was?

Waiting for more reviews, thanks for posting!

10.00 for the flight. I prefer it to getting the giant mug o' beer. It is just too much and it's nice to taste a few different beers. They also have a wine flight.

This is great, can't wait to read more.

Thanks:goodvibes I will be back at it again tomorrow.

:worship: YES! Thank you. I love being able to get a nice quality beer on tap. DH and I were fighting for sips.

Next time I would like to do Kona for breakfast and dinner. I am not a french toast person, but my kids are and hubby is a sucker for good coffee.

Excellent...........thanks for sharing.

:goodvibes Thanks for reading!
:drinking1 great reviews!

Thanks!:goodvibes

I think it replaced the Kir Royale as my new France fav.

Yeah. We didn't mind the rain until it got cold, then we know it was time to leave. The rest of the week was warm and sunny though, so it more than made up for the two days of rain.

If they love sweets, which mine do, they will be in heaven with them.

Monday 4/7. Animal Kingdom day.

I woke up feeling pretty sick as if I was coming down with a cold. I was looking over the limited information on the presentation we were to attend that morning. It said 'This is not a timeshare presentation'. OK, than what the heck is it? They said that they would serve breakfast. Great, crappy bagels and lousy coffee. I didn't have the strength for it so, I had DH reschedule for Wednesday.

I could have stayed in bed all day, but the sun was out and I was determined to come home with some color so off we went.

Breakfast was Ihop. DH country omelet. I don't know what it was with pancakes.
DD Ham and swiss omelet with hash browns.
DD11 Smokehouse breakfast. Scrambled eggs, pancakes and smoked sausage.
DD6 Baby Cakes. scrambles eggs and mini pancakes.
Me Mushroom, spinach omelet. This also has swiss and is covered in hollandaise. The sauce was surprisingly good and the the mushrooms and baby spinach were fresh. I ordered hash browns with it since I don't really like pancakes. I also had two grapefruit juices since I was craving it.

Bill about 51.00 plus tip.

Off to AK. By around 10:00 the FP's for Everest and safari were gone. We ended up doing the rapids 4 times.

I was craving a pretzel with cheese sauce and the kids wanted ice cream. It was nice and sunny that day. DH waited at Tamu Tamu for shakes and I went to the fruit stand for a pretzel. The lines were so confusing at the fruit stand. There were three going in all different directions. The CM's had no idea who needed to order or who was waiting to pay. By the time I was next the pretzels were gone.

DH waited forever for the milkshakes, but it was worth it. We got vanilla and chocolate. they were rich, thick and very flavorful. We found a quite shady spot off the beaten path. Very few people came over to that spot, so it was a hidden gem.

We were eating the shakes and saw the tall walking plant lady. I can't remember what the heck she is called. Apparently she did not like being approached, because on the main street area people were coming up to her and she spotted us up aways and came toward us. Now she is very pretty and moves with an amazing fluidity, but I'm not sure what to think of her. She is almost too seductive for a family park. She went right up to my husband wrapped her long stilt leg around his and slowly gyrated her butt in a circle. DD 15 couldn't hide her revulsion and let out a loud 'EWWW'! I think the only thing worse for her to see would be if daddy got a lap dance. Then she went off to the woods. DH was so...I don't know distracted, that he didn't get any pics. The whole thing was surreal.

The day wore on and DH and DD6 went on more rides and the rest of us ran back to our shaddy spot to retreat before the parade started. I went back to the fruit stand and got the pretzel with cheese for us. The cheese sauce is different than I got in the past. It was Ortega and it was gross. I was so disappointed. I didn't say anything and had the kids try it and they hated it to. Oh well not everything can be a hit.

Soon we left and had a unremarkable meal OP.

Up next BBB and CRT.

I love your review, it's so entertaining! That was just...unsettling, I guess, about Devine coming up to your DH like that. Kind of makes you go eww, doesn't it? I've never heard anyone else being approached by her like that. Ick.

Great food reviews, though! We went to IHOP last week and they had "who cakes" that DD got, in honor of Horton Hears a Who being released at the movies. I thought that was just so funny! (we call DD "who", hence I am whogirl'smom.)

OK, Devine, it was driving me crazy that I couldn't remember her name. I swear as I was typing what happened it sounded too wacky to be true. If I wasn't so stunned by what was happening I would have taken out my cell and got a video of it.:confused

DH took the girls to see Horton and they all loved it. DD15 came home raving about it and later in the week she made a group of friends go to see it with her again.

Tuesday, Princess MK day.

I was looking forward to this. This was DD6, Megan's day.

I called first thing in the morning 180 out for breakfast in the Castle after a BBB makeover. Well, it was booked. It was barely 7:01 am. Apparently CRT offers few tables of 5 and the 180 plus 10 got a jump on me. I wish I remembered the CM's name because she was the best ever. She told me she had lunch for 12:25. I told her I wanted to do BBB then the meal and she said there was a 11:00 for the makeover. I was thinking and my 7 AM brain could not adjust to lunch instead of breakfast. It turns out the CM held the lunch ressie as soon as she saw it in case I wanted it. So, BBB 11am and CRT 12:25. Since we have never eaten in the castle or been in BBB, I hung up the phone pleased.

We arrived at Main Street USA around 10:15 or so. There was a show going on at the Castle so the street was pretty empty. I wanted to buy the Jasmine costume before we went to Disney, but the Disney store does not have costumes anymore. DH suggested we stop at the store on Main street. Great idea, there was no one in the store because of the show going on. I grabbed the outfit and gave DD a choice between the shoes or the crown. (Thinking: Please pick the crown, please pick the crown!) Megan picked the crown, good girl. The shoes were cute, but looked hot. Plus the soles were not like shoes, but slippers. Not exactly what you want for walking around the parks in. She was wearing cute pink sandals and they worked out fine. The CM directed me to a dressing room and my little Megan transformed into Jasmine.

I'll have DH load the picks onto the computer for me and I will set up a photobucket account. In case anyone wants to see picks of my princess, the Castle or the desserts.

We check into BBB early and Megan is presented with a Royal invitation, with the hair styles inside. There is a choice of three, I'm not going to pass judgment, but I know what I would like to have my child choose. Also I selected The Crown; which is hair, makeup and nails.

Hair choices:

Fairy-Tale Princess: Hair in a neat bun, with a choice of tiara and a rhinestone mickey clip that goes behind the bun.

Disney Diva: A hair piece which the poofy top that may or may not be of a normal color and natural colored hair extensions.

Pop Princess: A hair piece with an unnatural colored poofy top and unnatural colored hair extensions with plastic Mickey clips.

DD picked the Fairy-Tale Princess. Now, I said I was not going to comment on my feelings of the hair style choices, but I will pass on what little DD had to say. Quote "The others are tacky".

Her Fairy Godmother in training was Kim and she was sweet and made nice conversation with DD. We all enjoyed watching Megan getting pampered.

As a goody bag you get the remaining palate of makeup, the nail polish the combs that were used and the remaining rhinestone face jewels. When paying the CM gives you stickers of your princess' princess. It cost 51 dollars and change and I felt it was well worth it.

After BBB we were early for lunch and took some picks and a bathroom break.

Time to get little DD ready for bed, so I will review CRT later.

Looking forward to the CRT lunch review as we are booked for lunch in August. :goodvibes Last year I made reservations for 5 and got what I wanted, but I had to be somewhat flexible and switch a couple things around. This year, I was booking for 4 and at about 150 days out, had my pick of times at CRT.
I've never been to BBB, but as far as the hairdos go, my niece and her friends (age 13) LOVE hair extensions right now and I think it is great marketing on Disney's part to include the different styles, something for all ages that way. It's a lot less likely that the pre-teens/ early teens would go for the princess do, although DD5 would love it.:lovestruc

I'm having so much fun reading your trip report! I can't wait to see pics of your princess!!

I agree about the older girls wanting the funky hair. But I saw the looks on mom's faces who's little girls picked out the colored extensions. Some were not pleased. It just seems odd for a 5 year old dressed as Cinderella, wearing a pink hair piece. But it is for the kids and as long as they are happy.:thumbsup2

Thanks! Some of the princess Megan poses are pretty funny. She is quite the ham. I will figure out how to post them this week.

can't wait to hear about CRT lunch!!!

I was at a cheer competition today, so I'm worn out. I will post the CRT review tomorrow. I will say that it exceeded my expectations food wise.
