The December Sickness has hit AGAIN!!

I swear this has become an annual thing...Every year, sometime within the month of Dec, DH will get sick. It does not matter if he was working, out of work, or got a flu shot..he gets sick...which then leads to ME getting the cold, 10x worse!

Well DH annouced last night he was getting his annual cold...He had been feeling bad the last few days..so I have been with the germs now a few days..and with my crappy work schedule right now, my immune system is in the tank!

Well woke up today...and yup..its starting!!! I popped some Ziacam..I CANNOT be out of work right now, there is no one to cover for me, as I am covering someone else..and that would force the other guy to pull double shifts, and he is already making that sacrifice on Christmas for me..I dont want them to cance Christmas because I got sick!!

Hears hoping I can keep this thing away!

My husband gets sick every year around late January/February. It drives me crazy because this is when Mardi Gras season really gets started. Hopefully, this year will be different. His brother is king of Mardi Gras and we have lots of parties to attend.

We got our bout of this sickness last week.. dh got sick friday.. i warned him if he got us sick I'd kill him.. sure enough sunday night one of the kids got sick.. then everyone woke up monday sick.. yay for me.. 4 sick kids and of course I was sick too.. dh was over it by then.. his seems to last only 2 days... with the kids and me it lingers.. 2 of the kids are still coughing.. the baby is all nasily... stupid germs

My little boys have been sick it seems like since October. The 2 of them keep passing it back and forth. I am hoping that everyone goes to school today. We'll see. I'm nervous because one of them is still asleep!
