If it's a cruise or an ABD trip, yes. I have participated in all of the December land events even though I used my DVC points for my resort stay. Sometimes, booking through Dreams might give you first chance on certain land events . . . or as Kevin just posted "stay tuned."

Same here, and I vowed to go on the next DIS (in park) event, but it seems like they are always in December which just doesn't work for us. Maybe someday it will happen, I would love to go to a DIS event!

This is probably us, too. Travelling in December is mucho expensive, and we have a lot going on then.
