Okay caught up from the 2 days I missed cause of work. Well Olivia and I are both not feeling good. Olivia started having a cough and runny nose yeserday. well this morning she woke up at 9 having labored breating. I gave her a nebulizer treatment. It worked a little bit. She feels warm to the touch but the therometer says no fever. I gave her half of a claritin tab last night thinking it was her allergies. She fell asleep in my lap around 1030am -1100am she has woke up a couple of times. tried laying her down and she woke up. I cant get her to eat or drink anything yet. As for me My face feels a bit swollen on the side where my wisdom tooth is bothering me, I have a runny nose, cough, and sore throat on top of having teeth pain. it hurts to chew and swallow.
pixiedust: I hope both of you feel better soon!

Chuck says he isn't lurking anymore. He couldn't keep up. He says it was too confusing for him jumping from conversation to conversation. I'm glad he gave it a try. I would have loved to have him join us but right now, I hope he truly isn't lurking.

I'm so darn frustrated!!! Please understand that I am very sympathetic about his condition. I know that he is in pain and that in this case, he is just as disappointed as I am.

Now to my frustration - it is always something with him. For years, every time we had plans to go down state (across the Mackinac Bridge to visit my aunts, uncles, grandparents, etc.), he got sick. I swear it was nerves. He would usually end up going so it wasn't that he was trying to get out of going. However, I would have preferred he stayed home because it usually dimmed my happiness in the trip. Or if he didn't go, my mother harped on me about not letting him get away with that reminding me of my cousin's husband who didn't come to anything.

When I planned our first trip to Disney, I was terrified! If he doesn't eat right, drink enough water, and get enough rest, he gets grumpy. Now most people would think his grumpy wasn't grumpy but to the girls & I, it is grumpy. We were truly amazed that he enjoyed himself and wanted to go back. That is one of the reasons that we aren't changing things. His belief is "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". So we'll continue to stay at POR until we can afford DVC. At that time, I'll probably have to make sure we can always stay at OKW (whether it is our home resort or not) because it is the closest to POR from what I can tell.

I always have to modify the way that I want to do things so that I make sure he is eating, sleeping and drinking right. We could never do anything the "value" way. Packing a lunch just wouldn't cut it. He would hate the value resorts. To me, I love POR but sometimes I wish we could stay at a value resort for part of our trip and then move to a deluxe. That wouldn't happen because just moving would stress Chuck out.

Thanks for letting me vent. Chuck is a wonderful, awesome husband and father. He remembers my birthday, mothers day, and our anniversary. He does his fair share of house work & cooking. He is very even tempered and straight thinking. Most of my friends have trouble listening to me vent because he is so head & shoulders above their husbands that they don't understand what I'm complaining about.

The thing I'm most concerned about is that I'd love to travel by car across the country. At this point, I don't see that happening. He has talked about buying a camper & traveling with me after we retire but I am so worried that it won't happen. I don't want to be stuck home or going by myself all the time. I want to go on a cruise but I'm pretty sure that he'd hate it which is why I'm trying to do some research to show him what he'd enjoy. He would go with me if I really push the point, but I don't want him there if he couldn't enjoy himself.

Ok, my vent is over so back to your regularly scheduled program.

Wow! He sounds like dh's twin, except that my dh doesn't love Disney (he loves seeing us happy at Disney, though). He hates to travel and hates to spend money traveling. I really want to drive cross-country, too, but I'm pretty sure that it won't be with him.

My dh is an absolutely wonderful husband and father, too!

Vent anytime and know that I understand.

Beth

Hi everyone! :wave2:

Well, we were supposed to get the keys to our new house yesterday, but that got postponed until sometime tomorrow, since the previous owners fell behind on moving and cleaning. I think Kevin's a little frustrated, but for me, this was kind of a relief. We honestly haven't packed up a thing yet. Kevin did bring some boxes home today, so we have no choice but to just face this overwhelming project head-on!

Jennifer, I hope you and Olivia are feeling better soon!

Tammi, I'm sorry I wasn't around to contribute :wizard: yesterday, but I'm glad to read that all went well with your dad.

Tia, I'm relieved to read that Phil got prompt attention and care.

Vicki, here's a big :grouphug: to help you deal with your frustration. I'm sorry your weekend plans fell through.

Gina, hi! Congratulations on your marriage and I hope all is well in your new home state of NC!

Robyn, I love your new signature!

Pocohantasfan, welcome!

Kristine, I hope you are having a great weekend with graduation and birthdays!

Denise, you, Rees, BK, Davis, and John are in our thoughts and prayers!

Glynis, have a great trip!

To everyone I missed saying goodbye to (Jennifer, Kate, Paula...), I hope you're having a wonderful weekend and/or vacation!

And of course, to cover my pregnancy brain, here's lots of  and :grouphug: and :wizard: for ALL of you!!! :goodvibes

Amy :)

Since someone hasn't posted her pictures, I'm doing it for her!!! :teeth:

:grouphug: Vicki! I understand your frustration completely. I wish I had some advice for you, but I haven't yet figured out how to deal with similar situations. Instead, just know that you can vent here any times and there are plenty of :grouphug: and :wizard: when you need them.

We're just home. Recital was 3 hours long and then we went to dinner. Right before I left I got the mail. Imagine my surprise to see a box from Payless shoes with Kate's return address. I got all excited and figured I was getting some tie dye crocs! :cool1: Nope! Just a...

BRAND NEW PAL MICKEY FROM THE DDA PIXIE DUST FUND FOR REES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't tell you how touched John and I both are. I cried, he was floored. We are saving it to give Rees Monday am on the way to the hospital. I will take pictures to post for you all. Thank you so much for thinking of my son. That means more to me than anything you could do. I really don't have words to express my gratitude to you all. Guess now I'll have to start a PM wardrobe of our own. Deb, would it be ok if I keep one of the blank shirts to make one for Rees' PM tomorrow for the hospital?

Thank you all so very, very much. Once again, the DDA proves just how amazing you all are. God bless each and every one of you.

Denise

PS- I wouldn't have minded a pair of those Crocs, Kate! ;)

Denise, I hope that PM helps Rees to get through all of this, and that it comforts him to know that there are a bunch of addicted ladies (and a few men) who are sending out prayers and pixie dust for him.

Please feel free to use one or more of the blank shirts for your new Pal Mickey. I have a collection of blank tees coming to you and you can replace the one you use. I had hoped to have them to you before Monday but I wasn't able to complete it and get it mailed this week.

Thank you so much, Vicki! A little birdy told me via PM it was your idea to get the PM for Rees. What a fantastic woman you are! He is going to love, love, love it. He takes it EVERYWHERE. His favorite thing to do is have PM with Brantley-Kate's Minnie Mouse. You couldn't have made a better choice!

I can't wait to see PM with Rees. Can you make him a little hospital gown with a slit up the back?!?! :rotfl: Or do they not give those to kids? I hope he eases Rees' fears and gives him something else to think about.

You are very welcome. You owe a special thanks to Kate for picking him up and making sure you got him in time. We had originally planned to have the ladies of Atlanta plan a dinner with you to present him to you but when Rees' surgery came up we decided he needed to get there sooner than later.

Your Pal Mickey's full name is Mickey Mortimer Mouse. In honor of the name that Walt wanted to name Mickey. He goes by Mickey. At least that is what his documents say! There is more to the secret but I'm not telling you anymore so that you can at least be somewhat surprised when you get the box! :rotfl: I've been so good about keeping the secret up to now!

Hello everyone! I hope everyone is having a great weekend. Bob and I just got back from seeing the Davinci Code, now he's out mowing the front lawn. My cats are bird watching out the windows, a perfect Saturday for them. I hope everyone is doing good!

So was the movie good? We can't decide between MI3 or the Davinci Code.

Moving is such a frustrating process, just remember to take it easy. We moved 2 1/2 years ago to the house right next door, so I really thought it would be easy. Well I was pregnant with Molly and the week before we moved our area got hit with the remnants of a hurricane which resulted in 5 feet of water in the basement of our old house and 5 feet in the new house. What I learned was that it really will all work it self out and it is not worth getting stressed out about! :wizard: that you get the keys tomorrow.
