Although I will say I'm not happy with Molly's picture as you can't see her face real well so it may change again!Eeyorecln said:My oldest turned 7 this year and I was.

ReAnSt said:So I have been trying oh so hard to sleep after I got home from work at 4:30pm, but it hasnn't been too successful. I have one last crazy work weekend and that is it as I refuse to work anymore, at the group home. I don't care what they tell me as I know the end is in sight.
This crazy noisy weather hasn't helped one bit. Thunderstormed badly last night and we lost electricity, so I didn't sleep well, has been thunderstorming again. It isn't right now, but they are calling for over an inch of rain an hour. Why can't we get normal rain instead of marathon rain, where it rains all weekend and won't rain for several weeks.![]()
I know if I don't sleep know it will be after 4:30pm tomorrow when I can sleep again and then I must work from 12am to 8am on Sunday. When I know I must sleep I can't. I just gotta make it through to Sunday and then I have the day off and then have to survive running Bridging on Wednesday night and then for I have next Saturday and Sunday (my Birthday) off. I hope to go see Cars for my Birthday sometime that weekend.
I still have to figure out what I am doing June 25 to the 30th, does anyone has any suggestions. Anyone within a few hours of Berks County, PA wanna get together and do something? If so let me know.
tmfranlk said:Hi all. Sorry for the delay in posting, but Terra and I just got home a little while ago. Phil's appointment was semi-successful. The primary thing they did was increase his anti-depressant dosage. The also suggested a nother type of medication, but it has both of us a little nervous. I think that since my parents will be here to take Terra next week if needed we're going to give it a few days to see how things pan our before deciding on the new meds. It seems that the extreme dosage of Vitamin D that the doctor prescribed last week is at least part of the culprit. He took the first pill yesterday and within 12 hours was sinking quickly and deeply into a depression. Now that we are 24 hours past that pill, he is doing increasingly better. The current plan is to talk to the doctor again on Monday before taking another Vitamin D next week. For now, I am just praying that Phil at least stays where he is now or, even better, improves. Past that, I just pray that the way is paved for us to move sooner rather than later, but whatever happens I trust that it is for the best.
Thank you all again for your continued prayers. It means the world to me and really brought me peace this morning as I waited impatiently for Phil and Terra to get into town. You all are the best.![]()

to get Phil, Terra and you through the next few days. And more
that you will get to move soon. I wish we were closer to help you out.Tammi67 said:Good morning. Nicholas and John are off to the Kid's Fishing Derby at our local reservoir. Alyssa decided that she didn't want to go (thanks to a teeny bit of encourgement from me) so we get to do girl stuff. Maybe manicures/pedicurs.
I don't know where all these thunderstorms are going. They have been calling for them for the past 3 days, and I think we have had about 5 drops of rain. We seem to live in an area, for whatever reason, that the rain never makes it to.
Jennifer and Glynis - I hope you have a great time. Safe travels!![]()

I sure hope the results from his tests come back soon with some answers. He looks like an 80 year old man walking around. I can't imagine the pain he is in.
tmfranlk said:Good morning DDAers! I hope you have a sunnier Satuday in store than we do. The radar map is awfully green. Jen - is the bike ride today? I hope that it's tomorrow as that green is stretching pretty far east.
No big plans for us today, just some final clean up for when my parents arrive later today. They got as far as Erie, PA last night and will make a quick stop to see Niagara Falls as they pass before heading over, so I guess that it will be about dinner time when they get here. Terra is so excited (and me too!)!

Looks like we might finally get to go out into the garden that DH slaved so hard over the other week - we've got to go pick up some garden furniture tomorrow and we're all set

This is the keychain blocks that we made - I actually did these after she went to bed - I bought the little blocks for $2.99 (30 of them) then I used a sharpie to outline them and add the letters - then I drilled a hole in them and put a leather like string through them - it was $2 and then the key rings - they were about 25 for $2 - so my total cost was $7 for these

Then I made these aprons -I used dark transfer paper for the crayon and blocks - the aprons were $14 for 3 - but I used my Michaels 50% off so they were $7 - I bought the other two seperately and they were $5 each - I splurged on the flower and butterfly appliques and they cost $11 and those are of course - Julia's handprints - so the aprons cost me $28 to make 5 - but I could have cut the cost by $11 and not used the appliques
but since I only spent $35 on the 5 teacher gifts - I didn't mind splurging!!!
