Home America Mortgage.............I have worked in the mortgage business since high school. It is a good career to be in although there are always highs and lows. I really, really wish I had a career in the public school system. Anyone with small children or planning on have a family I try and enourage working for the school system. You work the same hours as the kids and you are off for all the holidays and school breaks. You don't necessarily have to be a teacher. You could be a counselor, librarian, computer tech or cafeteria worker. But I work with what I am given......it just that after school activities and summer activities are difficult since we both work.

Lynn

Thank you for sharing.

I think we should make a list ans send it out via PM. Then if we have any ref. we could check our list.

Pm me your phone number and I'm happy to call you sometime. In my SSS (super secret search), I wasn't able to find your phone number. I haven't given up but if you were to send it, it would be so much easier!!! :lmao:

She is not just the DDA Historian; she is a super PI (private investigator). :cool2:

That's just so sad. You know, when we got our cats we had to have someone from the shelter come and check our house and us to check we would be suitable owners... yet anyone can have a child! England is about to have it's youngest ever mum- at 11!! (the record was previously held by a 12 y.o. mum of twins!) the 11 yo was in the paper the other day saying how she still smokes and drinks... apparently she was drunk when she got pregnant?? At 11???? What is the world coming too :faint: :sad2:

Yikes!!!

Although when I was over there it wasn't just you all being naughty!! One of my guy friends, 17, got a 13 yo pregnant and the biggest to do that was had was he was a NCO's son(and ROTC) and she was an Officer's kid.
Not the fact they were under age and doing blech!!

Oh man, now I have to worry about both of my babies having babies. :guilty: Wait I've raised em better than that, they still "EEEEEEEWWWWWWW" when they see people kiss, phew.

Marti decided it would be best for her to spend the time with her family...

I did spend 1/2 the day with them on Friday and part of Saturday with them. I will tell you that they are 2 of the funniest people I have ever met...an absolute riot....very fun!!

And, I did finally have a dole whip...Paul has the pictures.

Kristine

And....... :listen:

:cheer2: glad you had a good time and :cheer2: for the size 12 not fitting either... although I have to say I didn't think you looked like a size 12 in your picture... you looked more like an english size 12 which I think is a US 8.

Keep up the good work :cheer2:

We saw a picture of Glynis?! I missed that somehow. I may have to go back and skim the thread.

Nope, even the phone call didn't persuade her to spill her guts on the SSP. I'm still in the dark on that too. It was great to talk with her though.

She’s tough, but I made it through our call w/o letting on to what it could be. :duck:

Well, I'm off to Lansing. I'll be on the road for 8 hours. I always have my laptop so should be able to check in tonight. Hope you all have a great day!!!!

I am trying to keep up with everyone but I came down with some nasty cold/sore throat Saturday night and have felt horrible since. I have had a fever that comes and goes and have been trying to sleep it all off. Will be back later to catch up.

Hi, all! I am feeling cruddy. I went into the walk-in yesterday, because I had a UTI (one of the most painful I've experienced). They prescribed Bactrim. Apparently, I'm having an allergic reaction to that (though I've taken it before) plus experiencing some of the other common side effects. I'm heading out now to pick up a Cipro prescription that they called in when I told them about the rash around my mouth (ouch and ugly and itchy) and my tingling tongue (and the GI upsets).

WELCOME BACK to Kristine, Tammi, and Kate! I can't wait to hear a whole report!

:wizard: and :grouphug: to all that need them.

I'll be back (but maybe not until tomorrow).

Beth

Feel better, Denise, Robyn and Beth!

My huge family trip will be May 2007. If we could plan for Californina around August, that might work. It's not 3000 degrees in August, is it???

It can get hot, but it's a different heat than most of you are used to. It's a dry heat. Zero humidity! August is doable!

I did it! The girls and I took 15 minutes to clean up toys and I put away the clean dishes in the dishwasher. We made it a game and raced against the timer.
I don't know if that will work for the girls everytime, but I sure will try.

Thal you VICKI for telling me more when you called.

Hooray for you, Paula! Making it a game is the best thing in the world you can do! Make sure you put some really cool dancing music on so you can all dance while you are working. It adds to the fun!

Glynis -- I've been meaning to ask you...

Did you get the 50th Anniversary Edition DVD of Lady & the Tramp for Mother's Day?

Jennifer

No, I didn't. I was going to pick it up for myself, but I just couldn't do it. Katie is going through a growth spurt, and we're having to pump money into a wardrobe that covers her up! It's sad to see how tall she's getting. She's only 9 and she's almost as tall as me!

I do have it on my wish list for our anniversary, but I'm not holding out too much hope. Alan is giving me a trip to DL for our anniversary, so I can't be too greedy!

I would be driving (about 6 hrs) and could stop by airports along the way.
It's up my ally or is it down the side road well anyway it would be on my way.

Oh Glynis, now you have made me want to drive down tonight!

Well, let's get to planning! Ok people, start naming your best time in 2007.
