Well, our 10 a.m. showing cancelled, but someone else scheduled an 8:15 p.m. showing tonight! We think the morning showing was just another realtor scoping out her competition, and at least now I have more time to clean.

Okay,
Finally some pictures as promised, and I am not a great photographer, for some reason the camera spends more time in my purse frogotten and then I cannot believe how few pics I have.

Julia, I enjoyed your cruise and t-shirt pictures!

Paula, cool pictures on the Pal Mickey thread!

Denise, keep us posted on how your interview goes...

I was so frustrated with how slow the server was last night, I just gave up and went to bed.

All 3 of my boys went to WDW as toddlers. We did pretty much everything and used the baby swap when needed. The only things that they really didn't like were the 3 D shows. For some reason they scare them with the exception of Mickey's Philharmagic. The loved Fantasyland and any of the play areas and water play areas. They also loved the water parks. Colby went to Typhoon Lagoon and that is the part of the vacation that he still talks about daily. We have to take him to a water park around here this summer.

To avoid the Fantasyland crowds, hit that area of the park early and then get out! :teeth:
Amy :)

Very good advice we do that with Fantasyland and Tomorrowland!!!!!

Here is my hint for the day: If you are at MK when it opens and you are trying to get to Tomorrowland go straight down Main Street and stay to your right and then cut thru Plaza Restaurant and continue walking to cut through the Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station.

Thanks Amy for the correction in the restaurant name :)

Everyone else usually goes straight down Main Street and then takes a right and goes over the bridge. Cutting thru the restaurant gets you there quicker.

My DS Jake had two baseball games last night. His team was in a three way tie for first, so they played a mini-tournament last night. His team won both games, and the first place trophy. He had fantastic hits each time at bat -- always over second base. I was so proud!

I think you mean take a right at the Plaza Restaurant and continue walking to cut through the Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station. The ABC Commissary is at MGM. :teeth:

Good Morning DDA,

Just a quick post before I'm off to work.

Fantastic news about Rees!

Happy Day After June, you share a birthday with my FIL, which is where we were last night.

We leave for Disney in 18 days, things have been so hectic around here that I don't have our itinerary worked up yet, I do have the ADR's though.

This will be our first trip with a three year old, any words of wisdom from those of you who have taken a toddler. And any "must do's" that I might not know about?

I better get off here and get on with it, I wouldn't want to be late for work.

Hope Everyone has a Magical Day

Debbie

Debbie,

My toddlers loved MGM. They loved Playhouse Disney, Little Mermaid, Muppets 3D, Beauty and the Beast, SCI-FI diner, Playhouse Disney. Oh did I already say Playhouse Disney? Well let me just say, that I didn't film the show, I filmed his reaction to the show. It made my day!!!! :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

And my DGD at 3 in the Little Mermaid, singing with Ariel and doing the same arm gestures as Ariel. :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

At MK, my best memories with the toddlers was breakfast at CRT for both. My DGD dressed up as Snow White and seeing Snow White... :goodvibes

My DGS looking at the princesses and the princesses kissing him on his forehead. :goodvibes :goodvibes

Those trips were the best. I have those memories sealed in my heart.

I can't wait for our family trip in May...... :goodvibes :goodvibes

Mrs. Heg

You've gotten some great advice

I do disagree with Amy on one point - when Julia was 3 she was nervous when we first saw the characters in the park - after our first character meal - that all changed - the same thing happened with my niece when she was 3 - seeing the characters walk around and talk gave them a chance to watch the characters safely from afar for a while and then have the safety of the table between them and the character when they first approached - the characters are really good at the character meals of gaging the kids reactions -

You might also start with a meal that is face characters - I love the 1900 Park Fare breakfast - it is a combo of face characters and Pooh characters - both of my kids love it!!

ETA: while I disagree with Amy - I don't think she is wrong - just presenting a different point of view! :teeth:
