My, oh my what a chatty bunch you've been the last couple of days. I was going to post earlier that I signed onto the DISboards for the first time one year ago today, now today is almost over!! It's been a really fun year. I'm not sure when my first post was on the monster thread, but I was lurking awhile before I posted.

There were way too many posts to respond to individually, so and to those that need it. for all those with something to celebrate.

Hey guys... I need your opinion. Here is another Family shirt design I am playing with. Which one do you like better- the red or the green?

Cinderumbrella - I like the green. The contrast with the red star is better than the all red (in my humble opinion).

Kristine - that is so sad. I am sorry for Bill's family to have to go through this once again.

Kristin - I think I like the green better.... but maybe not... who knows?!?

It was a crazy day here..all 3 of my kids went to bed in tears. All for 3 different reasons..what a whopper of a day. They are all sleeping like angels now. Take care everyone.

Hi everyone,
I have been on & off still can't get caught up.
I have missed a few so belated to you all that I missed.
I know a few of the little 1's have been .
Hope all are better now.
All that are going through trying times hang in there.
Better times always around the corner.

We have all seemed to have settled in to our new place.
I took Ramiro out of after school care.
I just pick him up after school & take him home.
Live & work on site so I'm just outside.
He seems to be doing much better.
Even helping me around the apt.
Likes to help with dinner.
It works out better for me also.
I don't have to fight 5:00 traffic to pick him up.
I really think he just grew out of it.
All the kids his age go home (latch key or SAHM).

Well I'm off to go & try to catch up.

So glad to see you and hear that you and Ramiro are adjusting well!!

thanks for the congrats to the boys. I was so proud of them. Only 1 other child got the yellow stripe out of 12 kids.

Seems like bad news around here continues....we got a call that Bill's cousin died. She was only 59. She was a cancer survivor...during Easter she had a terrible head ache...she ended up at the ER. Turns out she had a blood clot. Things were looking up when we left for Vegas...but I guess took a terrible turn and she passed away tonight. I didn't know her very well, nevertheless, I feel very bad for the family. I think I am developing a death complex.

I was just telling a friend today that I have developed a cancer complex. Too much of it going around.

The family will be in my prayers.

My original design was with the red and I couldn't figure out what it was missing. But when I flipped it to green I liked it a lot better. But I just needed some reinforcement!!
