Not a lot, Paula. I am winding down my teaching year and recitals start a week from Monday. I can't wait for a few weeks of break between recitals and summer session!

Tomorrow I head to Richmond to pick up Kristin from college for the summer.

Alan can't remember the name of the trap. There's a commercial for them nowadays, though. If I see it, I'll jot the name down. They're pretty common traps, though. We found them right at the entrance to Home Depot. If you ask there, I'll bet someone will know what they are.

Thank you, I will be going to Home Depot tomorrow getting DH his father's day gifts. They have these cool tools for "moms", but I think he would like them, so off I go in the morning to get them.

Alan and I were married on May 26, and his best friend and his wife were married on July 7 of the same year. This year we decided to ditch our kids, choose a date in the middle of both anniversaries, and go to DL to celebrate 16 years of wedded bliss! I can't wait! It should be so much fun!

Two clerks. One was accepting passport applications for a family of four leaving in twenty days who were arguing that they didn't need to expadite (sp?) their passports so they would have them in time.

That must have made for an interesting 35 minutes. I hope that family gets their PP's, they do take a while.

Tia – oh, I can’t talk to you you’re going to DL this weekend.

PLEASE will you talk to me?!?! Consider the visit a much deserved birthday present after having to spend Mother's Day alone in a crowd of in-laws (with no DH buffer). It's my end of the deal...I take Terra to his family, often without him, and I get to go do DL.

Paula-your girls are so beautiful! It seems odd to see them in swimsuits when it is rainy and 48 (feels like 43 according to weather.com) and the 10 day forecast shows 8 days of rain, 1 day cloudy and 1 day of heavy rain & winds but it is forecasted to be 65 on May 20th. I can usually see the Boston skyline from my office window but today I can't even see the entire parking lot to the office building.

That should be fun if they didn't expedite them considering that I have to have my girls expedited and they aren't leaving until the middle of June. The application states that it will take 4-6 weeks. They will expedite them in 2 weeks for the extra fee.

not finding a formal shirt,
kids running in the back yard in the clothing God gave them,
waiting for Pal Mickey to get here,
catching up on pages and pages of posts
sleeping alone this weekend because DH can’t come home,
typing up all my SSP’s in different colors and fonts
