Welcome to my world!!!!!

Finally I figured out that I need to put the video editing software onto the laptop. Duh. Now the question is, can I find the CD? No. Do I have time to look for it right now? No. I have company. Just came here for a minute to whine about this very thing..... :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes
Well if and when you get it working, let me know how you did it!!!

I tried, Clare! But I have been reading for hours and posting away so I am afraid you all are going to be furious with my P3 too :rotfl:

And glad you are catching up with the missing pumkin and turtle talk. :lmao:

Elin,

Good to see you back safe. It is so sad that families from far away seem only to get together for weddings and funerals. But you just want to hold on and on and not have the time go fast.

That is part of what we talked about... so we are planning a trip to Boston to visit my brother in June. My sister will go too. It will be fun!

I wonder how the cookout is going........:scratchin

I hope they are having better weather than we are!

Are we doing coffee on Monday?

Gosh....where is everyone tonight??

DisneyDDA....are you going to answer us on our guesses??

I made my ADRs sitting in the car on the way home. It is so funny to me how eating changes as your kids gets older!

Thursday 19th - Spoodles 5:00
Friday 20th - Coral Reef 7:00
Saturday 21st - Party for the Senses (no ADR)
Sunday 22nd - Le Cellier 11:30
Well, I figured I had to do a princess meal since those are the only characters Alyssa likes. I'm not going back to CRT since they raised the prices.

John has wanted to go to Primetime for 3 trips now, so that meal is for him.

Kona is for me, and Cape May is for Nicholas. All of our bases are covered.

Funny how they are having a cookout and CRUSH, wdwfanz and DisneyDDA are all MIA. Just popping in to say hello, going downstairs to watch the NASCAR race in peace and quiet :sad2: only one more day to go. Marti said hello and will catch up when she gets home...

I'm sorry I don't remember whose recipe it was, but I made the Dutch Meatloaf tonight. If I hadn't screwed it up, it would have been really good. I guess it was anyway because John and the kids ate it up! Instead of reading through the instructions, I just started dumping everything into the bowl with the meat. So by the time I realized that all of the liquid ingredients were supposed to be mixed separate, I had already put in all of the tomato sauce, water and brown sugar. At this point it was too late to do anything else so I just mixed it all together and had one big blob, because it was way to moist. I baked it anyway and it still was a little soft when done. Didn't hold together well. But we ate it and the kids didn't complain, so that makes it a winner. Next time I will get it right.

On another note, to show you how my day is going, since it has been so rainy and we can't do anything outside, I decided to try to capture some of my digital movies into my computer and edit them. Well I spent over an hour trying to get my laptop to recognize my camcorder, which it will not do. I have tried everything that I can think of, but it is still isn't working. I don't know what to do now. Any ideas?
Tammi - When I made the meatloaf the first time, I did the same thing. It was still good. :) When my friend did the same thing, she added more meat and make two loafs. :) It taught me how to read a recipe before attempting. I'm glad the family liked it!!

ETA: Is there software to add? Is it an older camcorder? Try turning it on and off?

Isn't that funny....

John just went upstairs to watch the race. He is a nascar fan, and will be taking Nicholas to the race in Richmond next month. Alyssa wants to go too, but that would require me to go.:guilty:

Kyle and Steve got in a fist fight over the Bengals and Steelers :furious:

and Julie had to take Dave home b/c he was falling down drunk and he threw up on Alyssa AND Amy's famous cole slaw :crazy2:

Amy and Kevin are appalled :sad2:

I think it is safe to say - this is the last Cincinnati DDA cookout

I've installed the software, just bought the thing in November. It's a Sony HC32. I've rebooted 2x, unplugged and reconnected everything several times, and have followed the user manual to connect it via USB. I've given up.:badpc:

ETA - I'm confused now that Elin mentioned the double negative. :confused3

YIPPEE!! What time, and at Hyperion?
I usually get out of Nicholas' classroom around 11, so about 11:15? Yes, Hyperion. No fights and no barfing though.

I guess the keg wasn't a good idea

Poor Julie will not be playing with the turtle tonight

I am sure we will laugh about this someday :confused3
