We call out of the country often and it is not as expensive as it used to be with all the new technology. We should do a conference call.

I was thinking a conference call would be kinda fun - can you do that through a VOIP service like Skype? That's free from user to user.

I feel like I hsould just stay here in the present - but I really want to see what I missed... I may just skim

I love the one of Bethie and the huggies - but part of me wants to tell you to take it down... this being the internet and all and there are some horrid people out there who look for photos with children with a high flesh count if you know what I mean... Not a nice thought but that's just my HO.

Thank goodness....we watched it while in urgent care tonight(nothing urgent just wanting to make sure we didn't have pink eye...we don't we have allergic conjunctivitis(allergy pink eye!!)) and Pickler was the only one we heard all the way through and she stunk...hopefully she is gone...that girl is missing a cog upstairs.

Have to comment - we watched the show last night... Glad I shut my eyes through Vicki's spoiler

I'm glad Ace went - he wasn't the worst last night but he's had a long run of bad shows - Kelly had an awful night but she knew it and I'm glad America didn't boot her out after one bad performance... and yes she's missing a cog but I love her all the more for it I think Katherine will win though...

Oh And I though Taylor did great this week - where's the funky dancing smilie??

I need someone to congratulate me and Alan is away, so I'm turning to my family for back pats. I made my goal today of finishing one of my final projects for the semester!!!! It's not even due until May 5, but it's done and submitted to the Professor's email. Hooray! It's such a load off my chest. Now I have to create a web page for a library with a link to a blog, take one final exam (ick) and I'll be done until September! Hooray for me! I made it through this semester!

I know this isn't a big deal to everyone, but it's HUGE to me! Thanks for letting me cheer!

Get you teacher's pet (I mean that in a nice way) Well done - I wish I could be that efficient... I have two thirds of the first one down and another to write.. both due a week on Monday... and then another one a week later... gonna do stacks today.

Ok, everyone, go hug your children right now! Alan just called me from work. He was called in tonight because of an Amber Alert. A man who is separated from his wife, kidnapped their 3 children today. He called his wife and told her that he was going to kill them and himself and they would all be reunited in heaven. He drove on the Interstate, abruptly left the road, cut through an alfalfa field and drove his truck up onto a cliff. He called his wife once again so she could say goodbye to the kids. Then he told the kids he was going to drive off the cliff and they would all go to heaven. Luckily, the police saw him cut off the Interstate and surrounded his car within moments. The kids are all fine, and he is in jail, now!

Makes you just want to hug and hold on to your babies, doesn't it?

Well I don't know how to do that. But if I did, mine would say not 6 months until bwv, but 5 months, 4 weeks and 1 day until bwv. This is bizarre.

Isn't that because you're in different time zones... ?

But I have some bad news... we decided to send them surface to keep the costs down and only after the woman had stickered the parcel and sent it down the chute did she say... That could take up to 12 weeks to be delivered is that ok?





DH said - what was I supposed to say?? Get her to go and rescue it and start again??

Great News to pass along!!

All my hard work has paid off.
We excepted an offer on the house.
$89,000.00 more than we paid for it, less than 3 years ago.
Passed inspection with flying colors.
All is set for a May 15 closing date.
I have an apartment @ work ready for move in May 1.
School isn't out till middle of June.
Then I start looking fo a transfer.
This means I will have to move 2x's instead of 1.
I think my scanity is worth it though.

I can't tell you all how much you have helped me get through this.

When Jessica fell down the well, I went in & woke up my baby to hold her!!!! Tears were streaming down my face! It upset me so bad, I can still remember it even though it was 15+ years ago.

Did they make a movie out of that? I remember seeing one about a girl trapped in a well and cried the whole way through it.

That is soooo wrong!!! I just come up with costumes in my head and can see how they will look completed. Personally I'd rather be Phil than try to pull of Hera or a Muse. I just don't have the body for either, well maybe the short fat Muse but I wouldn't be comfortable in it.

Since I made my one guess and was wrong I guess I'll have to say my sweet good byes for the evening. I hope that I didn't offend anyone with my smartalic posts today. It was all in good fun. See you all tomorrow.

Believe me, I've tried the charm thing, and all that got me was a promise to go to DL once every 2 years. I need more than that!

If I thought it would help, I'd dye myself blue (it's his favorite color, actually). Hmmm, I'll have to give it some thought.
