I have a question about boys:

Cause I just don't understand them!!! Julia was never a physical child - she likes to run around and dance

but Nick - wants to fight and play star wars and jump off things and turns ANYTHING into a sword - he likes to hit - you know like Karate and stuff

He's not being malicious - that is just how he plays -

is this normal and if so how long is it going to last?

Kate, I'm 41 and still haven't grown out of it. Matthew and I roughouse all the time and I'm sure is probably just as bad as I am...

They loved Chris tonight -- but I didn't. God I pray that Pickler is gone. She's too much for me.

And this site is SOOOO SLOW. Normally it is slow for me, but this is ridiculous!

oh - and this is very funny - I was in pain listening to Katherine

when it finished Steve says to me - that might have been the best Idol performance EVER -

um - apparently - Steve was too mesmorized by the hope that one of her buttons was going to pop or that she was going to have a wardrobe malfunction!!!

Anyone had the new Diet Dr. Pepper Berries and Cream? It is soooooooo delish! It's actually booted the Diet Coke out and replaced it as my fave. I'm addicted. Oh, and the new Coke Blak is really good too. Yea! New drinks!

I haven't had Coke Blak, but the Berries n Cream is AMAZING!!!!!!! I don't ever want to try the regular version because I think I could live on the diet even!

My hisband picked up the new Blak Coke and nearly threw it back down when he realized it is supposed to have coffee in it. Loved watching the horror on his face. ( Can you tell we do not drink coffee?)

I want to try the berries and cream but haven't had a chance....we haven't needed pop in awhile. All the little kiosks they have to try the new drinks are for the diet and that's a no no in our house.

We were babysitting my nephew when he was about 8 and he came downstairs (after staying up to watch the Reds game AND Sportscenter) to tell me he needed a baseball glove -

I was about to tell him he didn't and to get his butt upstairs - when Steve says hold on - and goes and gets him a baseball glove

Brian headed back upstairs and I obviously looked perplexed and Steve says to me:

"how are you supposed to make the winning catch over the wall in the 7th game of the World Series without a baseball mitt?"

I've got a few pages to catch up on, but I thought you might like to see what I've been up to the last couple of days. My job for the travelin' Pals was to make them blankets. I did that yesterday and had a bit of material left that I thought would make cute sleep pants. I tried to find a pattern last night, but no luck in the 10" size for boy dolls. I ended up creating my own today and made these sleep pants. I need to locate more material in my basement in order to send a pair of pants and a pair of shorts with each one. These are what I have done so far.

AI recap - my opinion only -- not a great night for most of the contestants. Chris and Elliot were great. Elliot had Paula in tears which in turn had Simon laughing. It was a fun hour. My guess (at least I pray) is that Pickler is gone. Paris wasn't that great either. Should be interesting.


And Paul has finished watching the Unit - watch out for him people - he's in rare form.

I really liked Chris tonight.
The Unit was good. Tough watching the main character go from acting in the show and then watching him in an insurance commercial

I haven't gotten Elliot all season - he just isn't an Idol to me. He may be a good singer, but not an Idol. An Idol needs more charisma - and Taylor has the charisma. That being said - I don't think he'll win. I think its Chris.
