Around here it would probably get him fired... or worse. Those of us in the DC area find absolutely NOTHING funny about snipers... It is totally inappropriate for any child, imho.

I just spent the last hour in the basement listening to our tornado warning siren. I am so scared of storms, when I was younger our home was destroyed by a tornado & that put a fear in me I will never forget.

My oldest ds is spending the night with a friend. I called to make sure he was ok, as we were talking the sirens went off & we were disconnected. I was in panic mode! Garrett called me back in tears wanting to know if I was ok. This broke my heart, it was so hard to hold back the tears. My baby was so scared & worried about me.

Anyway I think everything will be ok now, my heart can slow down. I don't mean to sound so dramatic, but this is a big fear for me. The worst is dh was outside with the video camera, what was he thinking

Hope everyone else that was in or is in the path of this storm is ok.

How frightening for you and your son. I am glad things are better now. As for your DH... he wasn't thinking.
