So what's everybody doing tomorrow for Easter???

We will get up and go to church to 9:30 mass, usually we find our baskets before we go to church but I'm trying to talk the kids into waiting until we get home. They are not really digging that idea too  much, it is just so rushed in the morning and then they don't want to leave so that they can check all of their loot out. We'll see who wins!!! I was going to try to send them on a scavenger hunt for their baskets in the morning and give them clues as to where they are, but I'm not feeling very creative tonight, maybe next year.

After mass we go over to our church's convocation center for brunch w/ some of my MIL and FIL's friends and their family's. Everybody brings something, it is a lot of fun!!! They have been doing this forever, since Dave was a kid. First they would go to each others houses then they outgrew that, we then used to go to a restaurant but we outgrew that and needed something bigger since their is now about 65-70 people that go, so now we go to the convocation center which is very convenient and the kids have tons of room to run around. We have an egg hunt there for kids.

We will then come back here so that the kids can hang out and play w/ their stuff. We stop at my parents for a little bit (we already celebrated w/ them last weekend). Then we head over to Dave's Aunt's house for dinner, unfortunately this is the small year at her house and there will only be about 25 people there. It is SO much more fun when everybody is there. At my in-laws house for Thanksgiving it is now up to about 55 people and still growing, I love these traditions because growing up I had such a small family and they weren't very big on traditions.

I'm SO tired I feel like I have been running all day long, which I have been. I left the house at 8 A.M. and I have been pretty much going ever since....

I hope everybody has a wonderful Easter, and that the Easter Bunny is good to everyone of you!!!!

Or your turtles :rotfl2: !!!!

I am still packing up easter baskets...have to hide eggs too.

Tomorrow is our anniversary...hard to celebrate with Easter and all...we went out tonight to a french restaurant...it was the place we had our wedding reception...it was very nice. I am tired from all the food...I can tell he has "plans" for later :rolleyes1 .

well did he put his aftershave on and why should Mickey and Minnie have all the fun!!! :lmao:

Whew! I am so tired. Terra and I left the house this morning at 10:00am and just got home at 8:45pm. Today we...went to McDonald's, took the train to the city, test drove strollers at Babies R Us, had a picnic in the Boston Public Gardens, talked to the park rangers and their horses, rose the Swan Boats, went to Cold Stone for ice cream, watched a street performer at Faneuil Hall (Terra's "favorite juggler" as she says), watched the Naval Academy band, took the train back home, went out for Chinese, hit the grocery store for milk and eggs, and finally came home. Luckily, Terra went to bed around 10pm tonight. Now Phil and I are watching some I Love Lucy on DVD and then I'm going to bed.

No big plans for tomorrow. I think we'll dye eggs in the morning and then go to Boston Market so that I can have some Easter ham. :teeth: After that we'll hit Whole Foods for the rest of our shopping.

Enjoy your Easter everyone!!

Whew I am SO relieved!!! I bought a new scale today at Target, when I weighed my self it was up by 5lbs from when I went to the Dr. on Thursday. I was kind of depressed about it because I was super motivated after going to the Dr. and seeing my progress. I just went in and looked at the scale again and realized that it was actually starting on 10lbs instead of 0. So I adjusted it and now it looks like I lost another 3 lbs!!!!! :cool1: :cool1:

I feel So good just to finally be losing weight, I was in a rut for a while and could not get motivated. I also bought 2 new dresses today. I really liked both of them a lot. I was trying them on again when I got home. I thought that the one was a little snug, but decided to keep it anyway because it was SO cute. I thought it was a 14, that's what size I am currently in, I thought that I checked it for sure. But when I looked at the tag when I got home it was actually a size 10 :cool1: :cool1: !!!

Sorry to ramble I am just really psyched!!!!

Yay, and hopefully the second half will go by really fast now that its nice outside and there is more to do!!!

Any thoughts one way or another as to what your having??

When I was pregnant w/ Kyle, he told everybody that I was having a baby and we were going to call her Emma, even though we constantly referred to her as Carli or Caroline which is her full name. He insisted her name was Emma from the day of our ultra-sound until the day she was born!!!

I was just curious! :teeth: We still haven't decorated our eggs yet, so I'm going to try Dawn's posted directions from Emeril tomorrow!

Sending lots ot :wizard: to Kyle!

We don't have any big plans tomorrow: church, decorate eggs, dinner at Kevin's mom's house.

I'm so bored tonight. We're actually all caught up on our TV shows and we don't have any new movies to watch either. Kevin suggested we play a game. And no, it's not "Find the Turtle." Ewwwwwww! :rotfl:

I might be back later...
Amy :)

In 15 minutes???

Those are SO cute, I love them!!! I have to make those for sure!!!

I absolutely LOVE peeps, it is my absolute favorite Easter candy!! Tonight Kyle was making up a song about the 12 days of Easter (like the 12 days of Christmas) and I was helping him think of things to say for the days. For the sixth day I said 6 purple peeps, a couple of minutes later he started gagging. I asked him if he felt sick and he said no I just don't like peeps and just the thought of them is making me gag :guilty: !!! I can't believe he is my son and doesn't like peeps!!! Although Dave only likes them if they sit out and get stale and hard, I thought it was weird when he told me this but they are really good this way!!! Although I don't think that Kyle felt good at all tonight but didn't want to tell us that because of it being Easter tomorrow!!! Hope he's better in the morning!!!
