Another thing we do to get our kids excited about DL is to show them the Sing along Songs video of Disneyland. It really helps my preschoolers. It's songs they know, and shows wonderful clips of the rides and the park atmosphere. I highly recommend it!
We love that video. My kids watched it all the time before our trip. I picked up the Beach Party one, shows the waterparks at WDW, the camping one, shows Ft. Wilderness, and the Animal Kingdom one. But we love the Disneyland one best, the songs are better and the footage of the parks is better on this one.

I'm probably late anserwing this but you will see Goofy, Pluto, Minnie, Chip & Dale & the waitresess(sp)are dressed up as well. The food is really good, it is served family style. You start off with a salad with a delicious strawberry vinegar dressing & yummy rolls(I could not stop eating these lol). They then serve you a platter with turkey, ham, & beef along with mashed potatos, gravy, green beans & mac & cheese. Seems like there is something else, dressing maybe? For dessert they gave the boys dirt(chocolate pudding with cookie crumbs & gummy worms) & I was given cherry cobbler with vanilla ice cream, yum! Ok I am making myself hungry lol I love eating at CP, but for the Halloween party this place sets the mood.

Thanks for the tips! I'm really excited about trying LTT before the party.

Denise,

You will really like LTT. Steffy and I and my two sisters were there last year and Chip kept coming back and teasing my sister after we told him how he was her very most favorite. Even to the point of taking her napkin and dropping it and then getting her up with him and putting up the napkin and pretending like they were kissing behind it!! She was just beside herself with joy. :teeth:

:stir: Here is a little mix of the red and yellow special drink. (no, not a Patriot drink:laughing: )
Now if we all drink it …:drinking1..... The magic of Disney will take away the lurgy and prevent the lurgy from coming to anyone else. :drinking:

It was just a thought.

WOOHOO! Well, if we don't get moved over to BCV (on waitlist for that) we will both be at BWV that trip. Surely we will have to meet one another then!
Of course! And if the 19th becomes at MNSSHP, we are going to that one too.

DENISE,

Here are some more pictures to get you excited about LTT & MNSSHP!

Got a call from Hunka while I was out - he says "who's the best husband in the world???" So naturally I said you honey. he says "what's your favorite candy bar in the whole world?" So I said Curley Wurley but you know I finished all the ones that Clare sent. So he said "How would you feel if I just bought you six Curley Wurleys?" :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc Paul was on Main Street in Fairport (kinda little town) and would you believe we have a candy shop RIGHT IN TOWN THAT CARRIES CURLEY WURLEYS???? I couldn't believe my ears! So I can get them when I need them! Isn't that great? It is still cheaper for Clare to ship them to me - but I can get them! I was blown away! Did I mention that I  my pirate:
How sweet. :goodvibes

Tammi... according to a post I read on another site, Disney has officially scheduled MNSSHP for October 12, 19 and 20. I am trying to confirm this but thought you might like to know.

ETA: Deb's site also has the 19th and 20th listed now. So, let's hope they are both right!

AAAAAAAAAGH! So this is driving me NUTS. This interview has changed times about every other day for 2 weeks, ok?

THIS MORNING -- they call me and say they can't do the first portion of it until tomorrow, so then they juggle a bunch of stuff and rearrange the other two for different times today. (Insert Jennifer pulling her hair out here).

3 and a half minutes later.... they call back again and say (I kid you not), "Don't think we're crazy here, because we are. But ____ can do it at 1:00 afterall".

So BACK everything goes. For now anyway. :rolleyes2

EEk! Phone rang again as I was typing this, I swear. But it's nothing, just a change in who is meeting with me. Like I care, seriously.

Anyone think I should apply somewhere else instead?!?!? They're making me nuts, and I do'nt even work there! :rotfl:

Goodness!!
A crazy workplace could be fun!
Best of luck!!!!

Tammi,

How long did b'fast take and what time was your ADR?
I want to say it was 8:05. We were probably out of there around 9:30 maybe. Your kids are bigger so they would probably be able to go through the line with you and hold their own plates. But with mine (at the time 5 and 2) one of us would have to go through the line (while the other stayed at the table with Alyssa) and get hers and Nicholas' plate, then the other could go through the line, then the first person could finally go through the line and get their plate.

So...I did get my taxes completed and printed out. I just want to review them once more. DH is happy and suggested I start a DVC fund with the refund and my bonus from work. That will put a very nice deposit down. I'm off to go review more details... :cool1:

YEAH!!!!!

Thanks for asking. Last night was the first night he slept through the night. Now BK and I both have it. It feels like it's turning into bronchitis (and Rees has a barky cough) so I'm probably off to the doctor with everyone tomorrow. We just went to the library and checked out 45 books. Did I mention my kids LOVE for me to read to them? Then we got Wendy's for lunch. DH is working late, so I may take them out to dinner and to get ice cream tonight. If they feel better by the end of the week, I may try to go to the new GA Aquarium or to the Zoo.

Have you put vapor rub on his feet and behind his ears?

Have you tried a cup of hot water with a tablespoon of lemon juice and tables of honey?

Also keep a humidifier in his room at night.

DD’s get this cough all the time and I get it at least once a year and have since I was little.

My mom used to give us the drink and put vicks on us, it seemed to help.

Best of luck, I hope everyone is better soon.
