Now that Glynis is back and we can stop worrying about her, has anyone heard from Theresa (babytrees). I haven't seen her post since Friday but I don't remember her saying they were going anywhere. Did I just miss that one? I've sent her a pm and haven't heard back from her.

She was so sweet!! The buddy system at work. I had the flood on Friday...meant I couldn't get to my computer this weekend and then Sunday was horrific with our car. SOOOOO.....I am glad to be back but having a heck of a time catching up to all of you....60+ pages oy vey!!

:Pinkbounc Yippee I love my new signature!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Clare- when I first saw the 2000 animation I was so confused since it it 2006- then  "bobs your uncle" I got it! It was a true blonde moment! :rotfl2: BTW- love the Mickey coming out of the hat!!!!!!!

Thanks to all who continue to praise my new designs. Don't know why I am so shy to post them here  but thanks for the kind words- it means alot! :cloud9:
FYI: to whomever asked- I use photoimpact version 10- I never upgraded to 11 since my dad got the free trial and didn't like it.

Off to design!

I was just over on the UK trip reports board and saw this cool tip to get character interaction during parades:

A great place for the parade outside sounds dangerous, I’d packed some bubbles for Callum and as he blew them at the characters he got so much interaction from them, definitely a good tip and made this parade the best one of the hols.

Get some bubbles people!

Denise-I tried CP for breakfast for the first time in Aug. We were there the last week of Aug and the parks were very quiet. We had an 8:10 ADR and were done by 9:00. Then I went again in Oct twice (with DD and my friend from FL and her DD and then with our whole gang of 6 later in the week). Both Oct ADR's were at 8:10 as well but it was well after 9 before we were out of them. It was much more crowded in Oct and the characters were slower. Both times we had to wait on Piglet. I think I'd be quicker to ask the character handler's to get them for us next time. We did end up having to ask both times in Oct. I'm sure you'll be able to get out pretty quick in September.

Here's a picture of the CP to get you excited:

Gold star to you for the perfect use of Bob's your uncle - especially with the

I might change it to say 2006 and use it for a scrapbook / journal cover this year... it's simple but I like it :goodvibes

Haven't we all decided that Hunka is the exception to every husband rule? In a good way, I mean. :)

Got a call from Hunka while I was out - he says "who's the best husband in the world???" So naturally I said you honey. he says "what's your favorite candy bar in the whole world?" So I said Curley Wurley but you know I finished all the ones that Clare sent. So he said "How would you feel if I just bought you six Curley Wurleys?" :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc Paul was on Main Street in Fairport (kinda little town) and would you believe we have a candy shop RIGHT IN TOWN THAT CARRIES CURLEY WURLEYS???? I couldn't believe my ears! So I can get them when I need them! Isn't that great? It is still cheaper for Clare to ship them to me - but I can get them! I was blown away! Did I mention that I  my pirate:

Yay Paul!!!

I can't believe it's still cheaper for me to ship them! That's just sheer madness... they are on my shopping list though :goodvibes:

Glynis, Nice to see you back and I hope your bottom is ok after the chewing you must have gotten from the Queen.

Well, I have to admit it's been hard to sit here and try to catch up on the DDA, but I guess I deserved it.
:teeth:

Thanks for asking. Last night was the first night he slept through the night. Now BK and I both have it. It feels like it's turning into bronchitis (and Rees has a barky cough) so I'm probably off to the doctor with everyone tomorrow. We just went to the library and checked out 45 books. Did I mention my kids LOVE for me to read to them? Then we got Wendy's for lunch. DH is working late, so I may take them out to dinner and to get ice cream tonight. If they feel better by the end of the week, I may try to go to the new GA Aquarium or to the Zoo.
:wizard: for you and BK. Hopefully they feel better soon.

Kate - nice job on those signatures - I think mine is still my favorite though!!

Clare - Paul bought one Curley Wurley for $1.79 and you said that you could get them for $.72 - is that right?? Keep them on your list if you would! And Paul will figure out the paypal for you - we have Matt's school play this evening - so I won't be on until you've gone to bed.

Jen - how did it go?

Hope all is well with everyone else!

My kids LOVE that tape!! Do you know the dark curly haired girl in it? Julia is convinced that is her!!! So everytime we watch she has to point herself out to me!!! :rotfl:

I have my doctors appointment tomorrow - but I told my DH he must be a FABULOUS doctor b/c ever since I made the appointment it hasn't buckled once!!!

After I saw the first picture of Julia that you posted I thought the same thing!

Several years ago, my dad bought us a video titled "A Day at Disneyland". It literally takes you on all the rides so you can see what they are like. My kids love that tape! It's quite old (the "new" ride on the tape is Splash Mtn.) and I had heard rumors that they were going to do a new version, but I haven't seen one yet. You can bet I'll be looking when I go in June.

Good luck at the Doctor's tomorrow! Sending :wizard: that he will be able to pinpoint what's wrong without affecting your May 18 trip.

I think I need to send another package to check the postage rates properly but I think it should be about one dollar cheaper per bar than what Paul just paid.

It absolutely is! And I also got to hear the Queen's voice when she called my house! I just felt bad to have gotten everyone so worried.

I am now announcing that for most of the month of June I will be gone. That is our biggest month of the year. DH and I are going to DL for the first week, then we'll be home for about 3 days, then we are going to a family reunion at Flaming Gorge (I'll actually wear a bathing suit for the first time in years!), then home for about 2 days, then to my parents home for the remainder of the month while DH works freelance for the Utah Shakespearean Festival. So, you have all been put on notice. Don't panic if you don't hear from me much during June. I promise to try to stay in touch, but I can't guarantee anything!
